Yes, you will be able take a Feat instead of an Ability Score Increase at the appropriate levels.

Maybe scout around, gather info on Corlo, the races, etc?  Otherwise,  Juli will clean up, but keep her usual appearance, not dressing up like last time she did something stupid.

I could.  Do we have encryption?  I do have the 0 level Tech Power of Encrypted Message.  However, I either forgot to buy, or forgot to add to my gear, a commlink.

If any of you chose an explorer's pack during character creation, there is a commlink in those.

You can easily purchase a commlink for R2-R3.
