I have replied via PM. I'm not sure whether the plan is still to go somewhere or not, totally up to you guys how you wish to proceed. I'm happy to run a scene with all 3 of you headed to the library at the university, or we can skip ahead some if folks are just interested in doing their research rolls and then skipping further ahead.

Any extended research rolls would take time while characters hit the books, but there isn't really much RP involved in just spending hours reading anyway. So I'm content with narrating some of it/fast-forwarding past some of that.

Just let me know however you guys want to handle all that.

Yes, if you want to have a private scene with Aeon to report on Mysterium stuff and what not, I'd be happy to run that for you as well. I was just trying to get a sense for what folks wanted to do and how they'd like to handle it.

If I'm reading this right, you want for Chiron to have that as a one-on-one thing, while Mamanu and Acciaio are busy researching things at the library, correct?

So for the Academics rolls regarding the cult...

It's going to be difficult and I suggest we do a teamwork action for it.

For this, we need to determine:

Who the lead actor is (Should be the person with the highest dice pool)
AND
Who is assisting

It's an Intelligence + Academics roll, and Mamanu's dice pool for that is+4. I can employ magic (on myself only) to get 9 again's as well.

I've got an exceedingly modest 4 dice. ^_^;

As for doing the rolls...

Since we're all at 4 dice, the SIMPLEST thing to do was to let me lead and fate magic it up a bunch.

It'll be my 4 dice, + Circumstance bonus base, with the following buffs.

Perfect Timing: Give a die bonus to the very first roll of the extended action.
Exceptional Luck: 9-Agains
Probably something like winds of Chance to help speed the process along somehow (but how that works is up to the ST)

@CHIRON - Spirit is extremely flexible and by doing things like awakening and bargaining with spirits that can be found within a library, you can get bonuses, or maybe direct information, but that would ABSOLUTELY require another scene, and the outcome become more than just pass/fail.

@Acciaio - based on what I know of your Arcana, I don't think there's much in the way of magic you can do to help here.

Not short of conjuring up the unquiet shades of dead librarians to help me. Which I admit feels a bit like overkill... 8)

Seriously, yeah, you do the roll.

You guys would have to do yours first though. Don't be afraid to spend some willpower on it.

Yeah, which is why my recommendation is to just do the Teamwork rolls and let me lead the overall investigation.

Which I'm good with.  In actual rp scenes, Chiron can attempt a "softer" version that attracts spirits that exist - more or less what he did at the murder scene.

Cool. Teamwork rolls work by the supporters doing their rolls first, and the main actor gets a bonus to their rolls equal to the supporters successes. So whenever you guys get the chance, go ahead and make and post your rolls and Mamanu will then do his thing.
