Below is a list of notable NPCs that are known to the player characters.

Aeon
Path: Moros
Oder: Mysterium

Aeon, also known as Dr. Hickman to his students, is a tenured professor of ancient history at the University of Maryland. To members of the Pentacle, he is also the highest-ranked member of the Mysterium. He is a bit quirky and some would say, out-of-touch with current events, but he is quite knowledgeable about a variety of esoteric topics, and the leading authority on ghosts.


Laverna
Path: Mastigos
Oder: Guardian of the Veil

Laverna, also known as Kristi West to the public, is a young and attractive broadcast journalist for a local TV network. To members of the Pentacle, she is also one of the higher ranking members of the Guardian of the Veil, and their official Emissary to the Pentacle mages of the DC metro area. She's quite sociable and well-connected with contacts in the media, local law enforcement and a variety of Hill staffers.


Morpheus
Path: Thyrsus
Oder: Free Council

Morpheus is your friendly neighborhood shaman. Known to the Pentacle mages as a member of the Dreamspeakers, he is incredibly knowledgeable about the Astral Realms. He's the guy you go to if you need a guide into the depths of the Astral, or if you just need to score some LSD or mushrooms too.


Royal
Path: Obrimos
Oder: Silver Ladder

Royal, AKA Royal Fallon, lead singer and guitarist of CALAMITY, a pop-punk band of international acclaim. She's also known to the Pentacle as the local recruiter for the Silver Ladder and one of its highest ranking members in the DC metro area. She's well-connected within the entertainment industry of course, and her fame and success have also made her quite wealthy.


Stratagem
Path: Acanthus
Oder: Adamantine Arrow

Stratagem, also known as Detective Alistair Barnes of Montgomery County's homicide division. He is well-known amongst Pentacle mages as a master strategist, avid chess player and the highest-ranking member of the remnants of the Adamantine Arrow in the DC metro area. He's definitely someone to call if you find yourself in some sort of trouble!


Tony

A street magician that frequents the Silver Spring Metro station among other stations in the nearby area, performing all sorts of sleight of hand and parlor tricks as a means to make ends meet.


Pandora

Proprietor of the Pandora's Box antique shop in Adams Morgan. Her shops is rumored to carry a variety of extremely rare trinkets, each one holding its own unique story.
