Issue 2: Back at school!
Mister Brick, your math teacher, had had enough. One hand was pinching the bridge of his nose, the other was holding a piece of chalk which was trailing off in the middle of writing a math problem. (He wrote his problems with a perfectly even hand while facing the classroom.)
He was looking out over the class and could see many students tired from their other responsibilities and activities at the school; he was listening and could hear the incessant and, indeed, unending chatter; he was noticing the vibes, which were bad.
He'd had enough, and he tossed his chalk down to the tray below the chalkboard and pulled his glasses off, wiping them down. He spoke then, with a tone of frankness, saying, "Alright, class. How many of you were on patrol or some other nonsense last night?"
Meanwhile, the young hero known as Leapfrog (or, to his friends, Noah) was whispering to Trouble: "Hey, did you hear? Hawthorne Hall is haunted, for real."
OOC: Hawthorne Hall is, of course, the extradimensional hallway where Imp and Trouble stay on floor 24.
I'd like two things from y'all: First, tell me what you think of Noah/Leapfrog. He's the class clown, so it's likely that you'll be at least a little bit divided on him, as the rest of the school is.
The second thing I need is how you feel about Mr. Brick's math class. You could, in fact, even include an anecdote of Mr. Brick being a stubborn old man.
