Scene 1: The Road to Tukoa

Dusk settled on the crossroads as Eveline's caravan finally arrived. The heat of the day had tired them all, and while there were still a few miles to go, the sight of the trail heading to the west indicated to those who had traveled this way before that the town was now well within reach. Frack saw five armored guards at the junction. They carried longswords and two were also equipped with bows, but none looked particularly attentive.

"Hail, caravan," the tallest of the guards shouted as he approached. "You are later than we expected. We hoped you hadn't run into trouble on the way."

Scene 1: The Road to Tukoa

Eveline gave her stalwart goblin guard a motion to move to the back while she spoke with what was to be her armored escort for the balance of the trip. "We are in fine shape," she replied to the tall guard. "I wasn't expecting an escort, but I will welcome it nonetheless. How fares Tukoa?"

Scene 1: The Road to Tukoa

"We're doing fine," the guard replied, circling the wagon with a watchful eye. "But with the increase in traffic over the past year comes increased problems. Bandits are more common now than- hold it. What's this?"

The guard spotted Frack behind the cart and drew his sword.

23:49, Today: DM rolled 38 using 1d100.  Guard suspicious of Frack (50 or less).

Scene 1: The Road to Tukoa

Frack, unwilling to let his honor be smudged by the tall guard, drew his own weapon, waving it wildly (perhaps a little too wildly) for emphasis.

"I am Frack the Faithful. Paladin of Pholtus. Taking up arms against me is doing so against the God of Light Himself!"

23:35, Today: Frack the Faithful rolled 8 using 1d20+2.  Intimidation.
23:36, Today: Frack the Faithful rolled 57 using 1d100.
