The Inn was busy but not too crowded.  The warm fire place kept the main room warm and well lit with strategically placed candles filling in the gaps.

Patrons sat at the tables, eating and drinking with their laughter breaking up the normal level of conversation.

Behind the bar, Griff kept watch, cleaning mugs and filling orders.  The smell from the kitchen out back filled the air with the scent of cooked meat, vegetables, and fresh bread for the evening meal.
