Both of you have gained the first title people generally get, putting all your stats at around 10. To put that in perspective, 10 was the best of the best in the normal world. Andre the Giant would have had 10 strength and endurance, Leonardo da Vinci would have had 10 intelligence, etc.

I'm not going to pretend I don't miss the rapid fire messages, but on the other hand I stayed up way (waaayyyy...) too late for those so it's not a bad thing either ;)

I mean, keeping at it until 4am on the weekend is one thing, but I'm definitely going to stop earlier than before in the week, my work days are beyond awful otherwise ^^

I took a look at my character sheet, and I'm a bit confused by what bonus you're referring to?

"Funny" you should mention that, seeing as I'm currently with only one of the two...



The default luck is 5 plus a random amount.
You got +2 (same as Lucy had), Jack got one, and I got none.
But I believe its because I don't need it!

Well, that's going to be difficult: one, it was out of the tutorial (slowpokes), and two, the foot got kinda, uh, dissolved... You could say.

The mighty blow one could be tricky depending on what constitutes an enemy, but considering your Dao... I'm guessing it's not going to be too challenging in either case.

More a matter of not ending in series of diplomacy missions than anything else most likely ^^

He's had a couple of problems with mental attacks, one of which almost got him killed off.

Yep, playing a meathead that didn't realize his limitations does have its limitations. I feel like this last encounter however will have given him the nudge to start figuring that out and putting some points into his mental stats.

Ha, I was indeed thinking it was pretty low ^^

Though to be fair, it's harder to realise how important a bit of Wisdom can be compared to stuff like Dexterity or Endurance since it's "obvious" you're going to need it no matter what.

On the other hand, even with Mental Fortress activated (and I'm sooooo glad I thought to do it...) I got in quite a bit of trouble from a Mentalist, so...

Ha ha, we're back in business!

Michael thought about putting points in just based off he description of wisdom alone. But he figured that he wouldn't run into anything that would attack that for a couple missions at least :P

Is that a challenge? :P

Sorry, they should be F Grade. I always forget which is the lowest grade.

Ha. With one I really had a doubt (who knows what's out there after all!) but with two the typo seemed more likely!

My skills only seem to be gaining progress when it's done in a meaningful way, and the hours are probably only in combat. Like, I can't just jump up and down 100 times.

Ha, yeah... That could make things harder. No jumping everywhere to increase (or get) skills or stats, that's sad.

Well, at least you'll get a movement skill out of it.

There's an expression in French, 'bon courage' for which there isn't really an equivalent in English. In a sense, it's close to 'good luck' (or 'bonne chance' in French), except that it's said for things where luck / chance doesn't play a role.

Have an exam, a sports game, bonne chance is appropriate. But when it's about something you have to do and that's not going to be pleasant, then 'bon courage' is the go-to: like when you're called to the principal's office, when your parents divorce, you're shipping to army basics or stuff like that.

So, System, bon courage it is.

If my count is right, you should be halfway done now. I hope the harder part is behind you and that you'll come back in good health and shape :)

Playing around in Regnorex's backyard (at least to start with) and all that, or would we be less, aspected?

Alright, well, since you have preconceptions, I'll tell you things:

I've combined the spiritual world and the demon world into one world, the inner ring is made of elements, the outer ring extends from these elemental worlds. Air turns into Celestia, Fire turns into Inferno, Water to Ymir (dragons and giants lurk in this world), and Earth turns into two outer realms: Gaia and Mechanus. Salvos was more of an inspiration than a foundation for the campaign idea.

I just didn't want to say too much for Jack, hence the oblique questions ;)

It's fine, your characters will probably find out soon enough unless they somehow dive right for a portal.
