Ok, getting ready to make a post in issue 2.  So this is more a question to the GM how big scale can we go?  I know what Star Phoenix is capable of, what is the timeline of where we are in history? Are current events int he world going on..what year is it?

Justy ostensibly hired a boat and crew to assist in finding the stone... but it seemed reasonable for that to take two maybe three days to arrange.  So he's got two or three days to do some really world wide heroics and charity... No one has commented about his efforts in issue 1 so... what's the GM take on this?

I was busy last week and unhapilly it will no be better. I hope I will manage to have enought of time for the game. For now I have only Phoenix who had begun the new tread.

I tried to keep a eye on the discution here but to make sure I didn't skip something, is everything is okay for the game?

I'm unclear on what it is you anted and how you wanted it.  Do you want this in-character?

As a new-to-me GM, I don't yet know whether not explicitly stating that I brought along the kitchen sink is going to come back to haunt me, because, you know, I didn't say I had a kitchen sink.  If you want an itemized list, I can certainly do that.

Or... are you just looking for us to move forward with it in a keep the story moving kind of way?

Far as I can tell everything is fine, I was waiting for Starry Eyes to post before I even begun work on my own and my ADHD makes everything just that little bit slower and more difficult than it would be otherwise. I do hope to get to writing sometime tonight, but I also have a backlog of other things to do so we will see how things proceed.

Here I was assuming that the US Meteorlogical Agencies tracks this kind of stuff and its easily accessed by freedom of information act to get telemetry from that day and reports of a meteor fall to a reasonably moderate sized location of where to look.  Hiring a Ship and Crew specifically skilled at underwater salvage and recovery covers the rest with underwater surface radar and potentially search and recovery drones.

But you are correct it would still take some time... IF we did not have super powers to assist in our search.  The ship and crew as far as Star Phoenix is concerned would help as much as they could but was more of a place to rest our feet while we search and to mollify Anathema's fears of powerlessness when we locate the stone... something that Star Phoenix personally think is Waaay overthinking this!

He does not believe the 'Kryptonite Theory', but has not pressed the issue as he's getting the feeling that Anathema may be either neuro-diverse or potentially multiple personality either before or by the current presence or nature of her powers.  He does not want to distance her...

She's 'easy on the eyes', and he knows people who are neuro-diverse or mentally 'complicated' have trouble making meaningful connections with others socially and he fears she may be lonely if someone does not reach out to her.  He believes, as he ALWAYS does, in the great potential for Good in all people and the unique preciousness of every life.. so he cares.  Her power can do great good for mankind... if someone gives her the chance and just is there as a friend, regardless of how 'strange' Anathema may seem.

So... who are we waiting on to post?  Is Anethema going to introduce the other characters or are they going to introduce themselves?

I'm waiting for the scene to evolve into something that fathom can participate in.  I just don't see her being mid-air downtown.

Though.. I do indeed have psyche's number.. if by the end of the week she's not posted, I'll make a double post and call Psyche.  That will get both Psyche and you involved and we can keep the story moving.

Okay I am back in game and I am on vacation next week.

Anyone want to continue planing the trip to the meteor or you want to go directly to do it?

I think the best is that everyone with flight should be able to use it under water but at only level 1. And Phoenix 'Plasma construct' are continous so they keep working even if he is knocked out and I will not use anything to nulify power, so Anathema can take a ride in one without risk. For Phoenix aura, no interaction with water, no need to complicate things. Anymore questions?
