Sister Superior Aria, any objections to using Rozzick's character sheet template for consistency (if Rozzick will share) or does the program you are using spit out one suitable for RPoL?  I don't want to make work for you but having the same template for both PCs could be helpful.

Edit:  And don't worry about it at all if you are already far along with a sheet.  It's not too much with only two players.

I have not yet begun to create the character exactly. I'm going to do that tonight when I get home with Hero Lab. I'm more than happy to use the same character sheet template. Feel free to upload it to my character sheet space...:-)

Wish I could take credit for it. The template was made by a fellow PC I was in a game with several years ago. I would track down who it was, but the game page has been wiped clean.

It looks great, though I tend to customize sheets a bit when I use them...colors, html tags, and things of that nature...if that is amendable...:-)

Customization sounds good.  Having a similar baseline is helpful and thank you for using it.

I think everyone is working on sheets (and hopefully enjoying the weekend).  Don't forget to work out your bond/relationship to each other at some point!

I was thinking about planes and how to handle skills for traveling among them.  Knowledge:  Planes will help you with the nearby/common ones as well as general planar knowledge, but if the game involves world hopping, which I think it may, you may encounter unfamiliar places.  If it works for you two, in that case, your ranks will be a measure of how quickly you pick up knowledge in the underlying skill.  It'll be somewhat situational but for the most part, you'll become experts much more quickly than any locals would expect.

That sounds good. Seems like Planar Adaptation may be a worthwhile spell as well.

I am working on my sheet whenever I get the chance, but it is largely from my phone, so it is taking a while.

Aria, is there any specific language you would like us to share? Maybe an obscure one that we can use to speak more discretely among ourselves? I have a Ring of Eloquence, and I would like it to include that language so that I can speak it even while transformed.

That's a good idea. What about one of the elemental languages? They are pretty obscure and most would not speak them. Aria speaks all four of them, so any of them would do. Also, as another option, Aklo is an odd language as well and probably not too common...:-)

So Rozzick, have you thought anymore on our relationship? I'm leaning toward a dating couple, a married couple, or besties. What do you think?

I think besties would work best. I'm not usually very interested in my characters being in on-screen romantic relationships, whether it be PC or NPC. However, I could totally see our characters meeting somewhere and being like, "That person is cool. I am going to be friends with them now. And it's going to be dynamic!"

Changing subjects, as an Archwizard I can delete one of my spell slots and cast an equal level spell 2/day (up to 50 gp material component). Any ideas for what a good spell would be? And GM, if I select a spell from an opposition school (enchantment, evocation), would I still only need to delete one spell slot?

I'd say the opposition school tax does not apply.  This is a spell you've rehearsed until it is second nature.

Awesome! Then perhaps Dominate Monster might be worth having 2/day. Although it would permanently eat up a 9th level spell slot... Any other creative spell ideas?

As for your Archwizard ability, are you talking about the spell-like ability feature at 5th level?

Nice selection! Greater Teleport would probably be consistently useful. Or Plane Shift, especially if I create a Greater Demiplane to live in.
