I also like the 3 and 4. I would like most a name that would name us as well, how would I put it.... Like it would give us a name "we are the Defiant" or "he is a Prophet/one of the Prophets".

Maybe I mean a name for the Binding that gives each of us a personal title as well. In the end I am totally cool with any name the majority prefers.

If you really need to know that came to $80, but it would've been $50 with only flat colours.

Putting down that kind of money for a piece of a character I'd written all of one in-character post for is what I meant by being too invested.

First of all, supporting artists is never a abad thing, unless doing so messes up your finances beyond repair. Second of all, that extra was most certainly worth it, I like the picture a lot. May this inspire us all yo make the most out of this game! A fair GM will not at least kill her off easily as to not prevent the usage of this fine piece of art =D

Another thing: though I already love the roleplaying going on in the thread, I would not mind the GM progressing the story to keep the momentum reasonably high. Vital for the game to survive the beginning of the play.

Real life is often like that, no worries. I have great feeling about the nuanced relationships already forming and the characters have a feeling of depth. Eager to see where the story goes and how the characters handle it.

Great post Sebhata, enjoyed it a lot. I like the forming narrative and the tension. There is a part of Grimvine's reasoning left unsaid (purposefully) and I like how it makes Sebhata misinterpret Grimvine's point. The Spite-Revenant has never fought for profit, he was merely jesting about the fact that someone thinks so highly of him/her/themselves that the opportunity would be a prize in itself.

Sebhata is of course right that Grimvine's words might cause tension, though still currently at Mind 1, he is unlikely to realize it himself. Good that there is multiple friends to tell him so.

Anyway,love your post and I am eager to see more of it.

Aww, thanks.

What's amusing (to me at least) is the irony in Sebhata's own perspective there:

Sebhata: Catching the eye of the gods means we're going to be taken advantage of by people and have to do a lot of hard graft for very little return. It's going to suck and we'll have to take what small pleasures we can in it.
Also Sebhata: I've spent much of my life on the road, murdering others at a god's behest for little more than headpats. I think this is cool and normal and totally different from what we're doing now because shut up.
