I'll be opening the first Amherst Chapter soon. It takes place the next night after your prelude. Please continue any side RP you may be doing earlier in the day, I love it.

Gerald - I'm assuming that given the current weirdness Monty just doesn't notice the Glamour. I don't even know how that would come across to a mage TBH. He's likely brush it off as a phenomena of the pyramid anyway :-)

Yeah, it wasn't any kind of flashy effect, at least as far as I understand. :) It would probably have been visible to a Prime 1 see-Quintessence type Effect if you have one of those running, though.

Er, could you please not imply that my character has fallen into a coma just because I didn't post for a few hours? :p Gerald would be right behind you. He's sworn to protect you, and he'll face severe consequences if he fails. He's definitely not just going to stand there staring into space while you wander off into potential danger.

Sorry...I got a private post from the storyteller describing what Monty by himself encountered. I assumed that he did indeed enter alone and that Jerome was hot on his heels. From now on I'll wait before responding.

That is my fault, I only saw Monty enter so I gave him a PM with what was down there.

Gerald-- just to be clear the enchantment did work on Alba, but she was also receiving visions from the magic staff that she came into possession of the night before and confused the sight of Gerald's true form with the other visions that were coming from the staff.

Heh! Yeah, I kinda guessed. I have a feeling we all got doodads in our preludes. ;)

Hee! I feel like Monty and Alba just gave Gerald a long, flat look after he stopped talking, and then turned back to each other and were like, "okay, so meanwhile, over here in the smart people's conversation..."

I also think that that probably happens to Gerald a lot. :D

It’s difficult trying to maintain some kind of simulation of real-time pace between multiple people engaged in dialogue over an online forum while the players in limited in the amount of time we’re able to get onto the game with the business of real lives.

In this moment Alba is reacting to Gerald’s description of the interaction between worlds with an immediate “let me see that!” to Monty more out of reaction to what Gerald is describing. It’s just harder to convey the actual dynamic over an online forum.

Waiting in Alba to say what she's come up with, or for Monty to indicate that he's moving on. :)
