Rules

We all have to have them, even if we don't enjoy them. Here are the rules for our game so we can all enjoy playing and resolve issues quickly. These rules are just to make sure that everyone can have fun, not just the GM, not just a co-gm, and not just one of the players.

1.) Follow the RPOL TOS. We need to do this as a condition of playing on this site, so keep that in mind at all times.

2.) No godmodding. As in, do not have your character have so much more power than the others and easily beat everyone with their powers. Do not assume you easily beat the villains every time with a single punch, all of that stuff. You can be powerful, but you shouldn't be supremely powerful with no equal.

3.) No metagaming. That is, no using out of character information for in-character decisions. Or if a villain has captured a hero and the other player know where it is but the characters don't, don't find the location instantly because your characters wouldn't know it yet.

4.) Show respect to other players. In-Character conflicts are fine, but keep out of character conflicts to a minimum. If you feel very strongly about a decision a player or a GM made or a player's writing style or anything like that, please be kind and constructive in OOC, (out of character) threads. If you feel so strongly you cannot keep civil, either take a break or contact one of the GMs in a private message. The same goes if you feel the GM misunderstood the system or took the wrong action.

5.) Posting-Rate: If you sign up, please post fairly often. Fairly often means once at least five days, so please if you create a character and are accepted post for a bit. I understand we all have lives, jobs, school or things like that so I won't usually ask you to post faster. But if we are in combat and doing quick turns post between 2-3 days at least, if we are in combat and fail to post that often I may take your turn, or just have the monsters react before you can but only in the case that we cannot proceed without your character. The same goes for any CO-GM.

6.) Please stay at least one week after the start of the game's canon threads if you get accepted. Sometimes things happen, but I want you to keep this in mind in general.

7.) To indicate a turn where you need to take an action in the system, like spending a token or taking your part of a team action, indicate it at the end of your post. Do so by posting it below the post with something like this example “OOC: Spend a token to transform”

If you are all okay with this, please head over to the character sheet and hope we can have a good time!
