(OOC: This is the place for roleplaying with your characters when not in one of our episodes. It can be done at any time you're here whether or not it is your turn or if it has anything to do with the ongoing story. We’ll set up a basic scenario and then you can respond however you like. Think of it as what your characters are doing in-between episodes if you like. It doesn’t have to be canon, it just has to be the same characters and they need to have access to the armor and the ships.  September 06, 2022. 5:00PM

 It is a Tuesday in the second week of school at Westside Florida University. A small college on the edge of the city limits of Westside Reef, Florida. A state college known mostly for it’s Astronomy department. But it has also produced doctors, lawyers and some musicians and authors. It is a fairly hot day, and most of the afternoon classes are over and what few night teachers they have are getting ready to attend. Students are shuffling to and from their dorms to the science department. Apparently news of something around Pluto, some weird metal object that has never been seen before is making its way from the Astronomy and Journalism departments to the general student body. What are our heroes doing? Where are they right now? We shall see…

Abigail set off for home. There was that lovely antique car that had been brought in, and her hands were itching to get involved after a day of classes, to do something real.

All the corridors and streets were full of conversation and the clusters, no, that was wrong, the crowds of people around the astronomy building and the telescopes were like nothing she had ever seen. Something about a new metallic object around Pluto.

Well, she had a whole load of metallic objects at home that represented her parents, well grandparents, livelihood.

It really was busy on the street today.

A program on her laptop spoke on.  Converting a pdf file into spoken word, so she could listen to it. That book being a new translation of the Romance of the three kingdoms.   Jessica and some correspondents of the translators from reddit received early copies to assist in proof reading.  As the audio discussed a battle Cao Cao won.  Jessica's right arm descended, escrima stick stopping parallel to the group.  Nimble for someone her height she slid down  and continued through motions she practiced day after day.

The mental clarity she could achieve while practicing was unlike any other.   As her arms and legs moved fluidly, she listened to the book making certain it had no mistakes she would catch as a proof reader.


Jessica came to a stop and paused the book.   She placed her escrima sticks down on her table and walked over to grab some water.   Jessica looked out her window as she drank wondering if she should head the few blocks to the school to get some work done.
