Re: The Steps of Mount Gram OOC

Updated and ready to keep on traveling! At this point Celegnor will follow whatever route is suggested by Narieth as he trusts the guidance of the Rangers in these matters, so don't wait on any vote for route decision making from me!

Re: The Steps of Mount Gram OOC

I suggest we get straight on along the road to the Last Bridge, the route previously agreed.  I just wanted to put a marker down Sinai can say ‘I told you so’ when we meet a troll along the way…

I’ll roll Travel now…

In reply to Narieth (msg # 136):

Narieth rolled a total of 17: a great success (same result if weary) using the The One Ring with a target of 15 with rolls of 9 (Feat Die), 6, 2.  First Guide roll at Weathertop.

In reply to The Lore-Master (msg # 133):

For purposes of journeying mechanics is the Bree to Weathertop phase considered one full journey and we should factor in fatigue/fatigue reduction from mounts and travel rolls? Or is it part of the broader journey and we should just continue to keep the running tally of gained fatigue (currently only 1 I believe)?

Re: The Steps of Mount Gram OOC

Yes since we are breaking down the journey to three parts each part is considered a separate journey. I will update the story once everyone has updated their character sheets and spent their points.

Let me double check the rules for skill and adventure points and see what I can do with 3 of each

Technically nothing yet: skill and adventure points are used in the Fellowship phase. We're just accumulating them until then.

Just letting everyone know that I'm leaving this afternoon to go camping and won't be back until Monday morning.  I won't be posting during that time.

Re: The Steps of Mount Gram OOC

Hi Loremaster, a few posts back I made what I intended to be the first journey roll as our new Guide.  Can we use this to get us moving, or are we waiting for something else first?  Thanks

Narieth I did indeed use that roll. I am just waiting now to see how the group responds to Gundolph Bolger's revelations to the group.

Re: The Steps of Mount Gram OOC

Given that nobody else has offered an opinion onn these hooded figures I'm going to advance the action. I think I'll start doing this generally when there isn't much engagent just to try and keep things moving.

Re: The Steps of Mount Gram OOC

Loremaster, Does Narieth find the brightening of the forest path at all suspicious, or just the lifting of the previous fear?

Re: The Steps of Mount Gram OOC

So, when a player posts a reply like Narieth did most recently, are you as the LM waiting for all of the players to post a similar reply? Because what I'm waiting for is a response to Narieth's post as she engaged in dialogue with these characters. I could add a post but it would mostly just be fluff that doesn't advance anything. I just want to know what the parameters are for advancing the story because it's been 4 days since that post. I'll happily post once a day but I'd prefer if it was only when my character is doing something that will actually add to the narrative.

I too have been waiting for a response to Narieth.  And am in agreement with Celegnor...I can post but it would just be fluff that does nothing to progress the narrative.
