She raises up pillars of ice, in twisting spires, twirling and swirling as they grow up in such a way that as the fire attacks melt away at them there heights fall in the direction of the attacking villagers.

She looks over to El "It seams I've made you quite the fun little friend haven't I?" She seams quite delighted. "I don't think you will have to worry about these silly people attacking you anymore child."

The White mages draw a beam of white energy from the spires, causing them to crack and fall and disintegrate. The Black mages draw a black beam from falling shards, melting them. The white mages then send back a beam of white, turning the water into acid. The Black mages send a black beam into the acid turning it into semi-sentient slime which squirts and splashes itself toward Einselb and Gorgo. Gorgo's flesh melts some, hamstringing him as he slays a white mage.

El stares on in amazement and thrill, not certain whether to scream in fear or bliss.

She tried a necromantic rite to heal Gorgo to see if it (he, but she was stilling thinking of him as an it) retained any necromantic elements to allow such simple healing even though he was alive. If the Necrotic energy harmed instead of regenerated she instead triggered a fugal bloom with it growing temporary fungal skin over the burnt away skin and forming withered bark armor over him with it......  if she rolls well and it heals him she might do both.

If the mages continue there assault she will fly up into the air and empower the candidate of the chosen of ice robes and draw on her full ice powers. "We have done nothing yet you attack us with such fervor, know how the winter courts repay such 'kindness'" and she blast out as much of her ice powers as she can pushing everyone away from the three of them with harsh cold winds and summoning up a rolling blizzard to spread across the lands as far as her magic will carry it. While shielding Herself, El, and Gorgo from the furry.  (the equivalent of double pumping ice powers for this =p)

Everything within a 150 mile radius is frozen solid, and beyond that out to 2500 miles, everything is covered in snow.

For a few minutes, the black mages absorb as much as they can from the ice to stay alive, but those who don't teleport away, eventually overload and become black pearls. The White mages teleport away as soon as they realize they won't survive the ice-blast.

There is quiet in the clearing.

Gorgo says, "Phew! I'm glad that's over! You doin' okay, Elly?"

El, mouth hanging open jumps and says, "WOW! That was awesome! You guys kicked their asses from here to Georgia!"

Walked over to get her sword back from Gorgo while she looked around. "I think I may have over done that juuuuuuust a tad." she snickers some. "Oh well."

She pushed one of the ice encased people over letting them crack apart on the ground as she moved over to get a better look at the black pearls with curiosity. "You know this was all quite amusing I'll let you get away with owing me one for making you such a nice friend, as you don't seam to have any real way of paying me back for it." She examined the pearl looking it over.

"Wouldn't it only be fair if I gave you my friendship in return? A friend for a friend, a friend forever?"



Suddenly one of the spheres morphs into a black knight chess-piece and says, "Greetings, Lady Mein Einselb. I am a Knight of Order and am honored to be in the presence of one so adept at the mystical arts of ice and darkness. A member of the Winter court of Fae is a welcomed guest of my own within this iced zone. How may we be of service to one another?"

She blinked a little and then smiled. "True but if you would expect me to return that friendship.... you would have to earn that one on it's own for things to be quite fair. But you are a smart one, I'll give you that. Yes, a friendship for a friendship is fine, your debt is paid."  Though with the magic involved El would likely find they always feel they are friends with her even if she did things that where quite upseting now.



"Strange you know my stolen name before I use it.... you must be something quite special knight of order.  You wish to have my services?"

"That sounds fair. I agree, friend!" El is thrilled.



"I am, much like yourself, a creature bound to my word. I am a being created for the purpose of representing and doing battle for the gods of Order whose magic I yield. The black mages you witnessed are Order Mages. They are free to wield Order magics any way they choose, in exchange, they must create objects of Order magic when commanded to do so. Such demands are rarely used - often only once in a lifetime. Objects of Order permit their wielder to use certain related Order Magics, provided their skill with the item in question is sufficient enough to warrant use of the magic. Order Priests can speak with the gods of Order directly and use Order magics far beyond their ordinary capacity but also are required to obey commands from the Order gods. Balance is the only will of the gods of Order and Chaos, though, so as long as the balance of Order and Chaos isn't thrown too far off, Order Priests can do mostly whatever they like. Then there's Order Knights - we are given vastly powerful offensive Order Magics, and usually have some foe to vanquish in the name of balance. We also have access to any Order weapon or item we desire (usually made for us by an Order Mage). Finally there are Order Thralls whose own abilities compliment Order Magic, and who are used without their knowledge or consent to accomplish goals of the Order gods. The gods of Order are impressed by your power over ice, and therefore wanted to give you the option of choosing any one of these paths."

He gathers up the human sized black pearls as he speaks.

"What limitations or draw backs are involved in an order mage.... what do your gods get out of this?" It was her nature she did not like to be owed or owe others. Bargains and exchanges should have balance. Least unless one had slighted them of course, then they could take as they saw fit and do as the like. But amongst civil folk there needed to be a level of fairness. She recognized quite a lack of details here in this offer.

She also notes she has no interest in owning anyone  so would know what it is she would make now and make it.

"Order Mages find it difficult to receive Chaos Magic energy. Mostly this means that fire is a little more painful, but less harmful. Also Chaos Magic either won't work on you, or will hurt but work less well. In balance of this, Order Mages absorb energy from darkness, cold, smoothness and other forms of Order. Night-time is our most potent and powerful time. Underground, we are the nightmares of our enemies. When the entity absorbing the Order Energy is too unevolved to absorb all of the energy, there is a chance they can transmute into pure Order energy called Order Pearls - these black pearls you see me collecting which had been Order Mages before they tried to absorb all of the cold you threw at them. Your physical form would be able to retain nearly unlimited amounts of Order Energy - each time you maxed out your ability, it would increase a little." He begins eating the Order Pearls.


"Balance. You are a creature of balance, you wield the power of Orderly Temperature, yet create Chaotic tipped spears. You see the value of owing nothing and nothing owing. Order makes sense to you, and you make a fair and balanced degree of Chaos. They're already benefiting from you, and this is an offer made out of gratitude for the balance you have already helped to restore - these human Order and Chaos mages had become altogether too powerful for balance. You fixed that in one battle."

"I see and what is it you would have me make?"

"I would have you make nothing. The gods of Order may ask you to make an object using a crafting skill at which you are an expert. It will take less than .1% of the total time of any one lifespan, never twice in 1 lifespan, and won't exceed 1 year in making. For every second you work on the project - if fair and not fraudulently long - you will not be asked to make anything else for at least 1 year. That's over 31 million seconds off for every 1 second worked. This is a special arrangement that I've never witnessed them making to any other potential Order Mage ever."

She frowns. "I will make something for you now and be done with it or that is the end of this, we are not ones to be bound, and I will not be bound again willingly. We are only bound to ourselves and our nature not to others, that is who we are. To bind us to another is to choke the life from us and you will slowly see that power you are so interested in die little by little."

"A high being such as yourself has a clear self worth and command of respect. The gods of Order have decided to make this offer: spend as long as you like, making whatever you like with one of your favorite and best crafting skills. However long you spend making it, you will be given Mage-level unlimited access to Order magics for one year for each second you spent making the object. After that time, you may continue to use Order magics through any Order Magic artifacts you find or create prior to that time without limitation."

"You would replace this binding with a payment for renewal?" She seams to think on this for a time. "This is acceptable so long as nothing else is left undisclosed." She starts to weave her own magics to enchant a Geas to make sure the contract is inforced on her own terms aswell and that if something is left undisclosed it is invalid.

(this is if i've understood things corectly anyway and this just means she builds something and gets powers for a while and no strings attached besides the weakness to fire and chaos)

Yup

The Order Knight waits for Einselb to finish the Geas, and says, "Once you finish crafting the object, I'll come to collect it, and you will have access to Order magic."

Gorgo and El will play with one another and do child-like things until Einselb finishes - bothering her only occasionally to try to convince her to play with them. Gorgo will leave the safe area and forage for food to bring back as needed.

She may play some games with them, and makes a deal with Gorgo that if he collects some of the frozen animals and prepare them, she will thaw them out and prepare a fire.

She mostly rests till some of her ice magic is restored while exsamining the chaos spheres to see if there is a way she could work with them. If she can make them into ordered choas or some thing that won't harm order users she will work with them too working 3 or 9 into her idea.

Ether way she will work a ritual circle into the ground growing up some roots to grasp three rocks, carving into them aswell. She imbunes the rocks with equal amounts of fire, wind, and water magic... while the roots knot there way around them (drawing in and locking in shunken orderd chaos if able to) and imbuning with nature magic (although swamp flavored lol) She makes a magical nature based device capable of controlling weather and creating/controlling atmospheres.

A white Knight Chess piece appears and morphs into a human teen girl, saying, "Fine! I'll do it! Here!" She flings her fingers in Einselb's direction and says, "You get Chaos magic too. Same deal as with Order magic. Weaknesses of Order to Chaos and Chaos to Order are cancelled out. Since you're just a temporary mage, the gods have decided to give you balanced powers from both Order and Chaos. I don't understand why you get to use both, and I don't even get to do that. But, whatever! No questions, no choices, no secret motives, no cheating. It's just done." She shakes her head in disappointment, looking at Einselb, "I'm not going to say it's a waste to give you this kind of power, but I doubt you'd prove me wrong." She immediately disappears.

The device is completed, and it successfully uses Chaos and Order magics. ((How long would you say it took her to complete that object creation?))

No more than an hour, she would take her time to do it right but at the same time she is kinda half assign it and wouldn't do more work than she needed to. She's not a dwarf =p so no intricate and unnecessary details, just doing what is necessary and very little more.

The two knights show up and argue a moment about who will take the object. Finally the Chaos and Order knights both send energy at it and shrink it to the size of a marble, and encase it inside a black Order Pearl with white Chaos Paradox spikes. They then take the weather manipulator and the Order knight announces, "For 3600 years, you will have access to Order magics." The Chaos knight grumpily admits, "Yeah. Chaos too..." They leave.

She looks at the children and laughs some "They did not seam to pleased at what ever deal they reached...... They say diplomacy happens when no one is happy though. Which is why I try and avoid it. It's much easier to make demands."

She kneels down to them "So what is it you wish to do now.... this land will likely be seen as a cursed place and anyone found coming from it doubly so."

((Quick OOC question - does Mein Einselb consider Gorgo to be her slave, El's slave, or just an enthralled entity (not really an owned slave, just an obedient servant)? Also, does Mein Einselb have any desire to remain with El, or is she ambivalent about that?))

(She see's Gorgo as a curiosity. And more technicaly El's property/friend due to the deal which is a weird conundrum she's not sure how it works out so she would assume more friend just one that is kinda a friend that can't not be a friend. She is just curious to see what happens right now and will probably move on when she gets bored)

On the exact opposite side of the planet, all of the remaining Order mages have been working on a massive Order gathering spell. This has left the area of the earth between the two concentrations of Order energy extremely high in Chaos energy. The remaining Chaos mages have been directing and gathering that Chaos energy to 12 points around the border of the frozen-zone Mein Einselb had created. At the appointed time, the Order Mages unleashed the gathered Order energy in a directed beam to each of those same 12 points. At each of those 12 points, a Grey Order/Chaos Mage has been working on a cooperative destruction/creation genesis spell.

At the exact moment that Mein Einselb was explaining that the land would be seen as cursed, those 12 Grey mages were releasing their combined Genesis spell.

In an instant, all of the land and everything within a sphere centering on the center of the frozen land is suddenly and completely transformed into an Edenic garden. Of course, anything living in that area no longer exists. This includes Mein Einselb, Elliot, and Gorgo.

Thou art dead.
