Glitch wakes up under some cardboard and newspaper on a busy street. The newspaper is the New York Times, and it reads, October 29, 2024, 7 days to the Presidential election. ((Timeframe of events, not necessarily involved in the plot))

She looks around checking this world out... mostly to make sure she's not going to be attacked for being a huge half naked rat person.

((it's this world two years from now, the only exception is this game doesn't exist, and we aren't in the world. Also it's two days to Halloween, so she'll likely get away with it for a little bit))

((well, not the only exception. I'll go ahead and let you know, the biases are pretty strict. Simple spells and rituals will be accessable, all Chaos magic is fully accessable, somatic and psychic is normal. And she can meet people from any religion, each of which will have magics that work better in other Verses than here, but can still be learned here.))

This world has recently gone through quite a bit of turmoil. One large nation has nearly obliterated a bunch of smaller ones through proxy wars, and another nation is in the process of invading smaller Nations who don't have allies. But that's just politics. Versers don't care about anything they're not interested in.

Well this world seams almost as bad off as the one she was born into, only it's just humans. She will find a group of homeless and rats to spread the birthing plague to and look to find her way to Florida using a bolt hole. She will do the same when she gets there and then look to see if this world is similar spiritually.

There was little she could do in her life time or before she got killed in a world like this on her own she knew, however she could help it the same way some rats planed to on her own. If everyone was just humans it would be easier for her. The wyld loved Gaia and when the weaver walled her off from the rest of the universe the wyld ripped out it's heart and tossed it into the wall it could not pass through itself. The realm of chaos created was connected to earth in four place and each bordered by three points.  In Florida there was a spring where waters of life bubbled up out of the swamp and men built a shrine of order to contain the chaos it created. So when she found that shrine in Orlando, she went into the spirit world looking for the spring it encased.

She can't open a bolt-hole to anywhere, but she can enter and exit the Spirit plane from the same single location. But Chaos teleport works.

Part of the reason spiritual magic is harder here is that there is a vast spiritual vampire field (reinforced by most of the people) sucking the spiritual life from everyone and everything.

She finds out that Russia has nuked a few cities in Europe whose countries were not nuclear capable, but no one has retaliated. A man called Mr. T has gained the support of a little less than half of the population of the US, and has promised to support Russia's Holy War against immortality by invading the godless heathens to the North and South, liberating the people from the Communist Nazis there. An equally vocal woman has promised to organize the world against Russia and firm up "civil liberties" and "basic human rights". No one seems to be certain of what is true, even what they see, they question if some government military operation is using secret technology to protect fake pictures and images onto the world.

There are a few people who are spiritual islands of clarity.

While she infects ((how? by biting them?)) some of the homeless people in Florida, she finds one who is very sick, and is offering her baby to everyone who pays attention to her, saying, "Will you take my baby please? She's going to save the world! But she needs someone to care for her first. I'm dying, please take my baby, sir." They're all ignoring her and the crying baby. When Glitch gets closer, she realizes the baby is completely in bodily the Spirit realm, and just barely subsisting on spirit milk from her mother. The baby has a deep blue, purple and red birthmark that looks like a sunset from orbit over left eye.

When she sees Glitch, she stares at her and runs over. "YOU!"

Glitch blinks a little "We do not know how to care for human babies!" she sputters out! Instead she places her hands on the lady and tries to purge the diseases from her body.  Ratkin may not get sick but there kinfolk do so they know how to cure diseases. Normally it wouldn't do much good for stronger terminal diseases like AIDS or cancer, but maybe being a verser changes that.


She wondered how this worlds poor even survived with out bonegnawlers, most wolfs where asses but the bonegnawlers where good lots and often followed Rats wisdom... they lived among the human outcasts and cared for them and she couldn't fanthom them doing well with out that aid.


If she gets cought up in the afairs there she will spend some time with the homeless and gather information on whats going on, on Disney world, and on the fountain of youth. (the shrine to order and spring =p)  She will also get the biggest pot she can and use a gift called cook which will let her use water and anything she can get her hands on and mix it up over a fire. It brakes down what ever is in the pot to a gray edible mush that is nutritious and good for you but isn't great in taist. (it's not bad, it's just bland as all can be) She'll also mix some of her spiritual energy into it more than is required seeing as something is drainning them. This was a bonegnawler trick and was good for feeding a mass of hungry people with nothing as you could literally dump garbage and garbage water into a pot and fix up something healthy to eat. If the spirits where kind and generous the meal they mixed might even have some taist to it. But it helped if she put something at least something somewhat close to food into it.

She communes with the Maternal through the Rat Mother, and trusting in Her Love, the illnesses of the homeless mother of the baby stuck in the spirit plane are healed. However, the mother's mind is still confused and chaotic, and she still can't physically care for her child. Her spirit milk is improved somewhat by the healing of her body. The woman's eyes go wide with gratitude and amazement as she feels better than she's ever felt before in her life. She looks at her baby in her arms, and tears well up again, "Please, rat angel, you are in the same place as my baby. If you take her into your care, she will find your milk on her own." ((There are other solutions, but the mother's mind is one-tracked on this topic at the moment))

She finds a large pot that can feed about 50 people and practices "Cook" while a number of homeless people are watching - as well as a number who are experiencing the effects of the Birthing Plague. They are learning how to do this for themselves. One of the learners - an unrecognized seer - says, "This will feed millions in the coming years and cleanse Gaia of the trashpits." Once she has learned this skill, she leaves with a number of others to start a homeless tent settlement in an abandoned garbage dump.


The closest thing she can find is that many people are going to certain places in South America (especially Costa Rica) to find spiritual healing. No fountain of youth has yet been discovered.

As a child of Gaia, she senses that Gaia is weeping and groaning in agony - birthing pangs. The world is undergoing a transformation. The old ways of Patriarch nobility have degenerated into dominance by violence (physical, spiritual and mental) and the culture of appropriation designed to maximize the wealth of the wealthy has led to a narcissistic zeitgeist - people are psychically cocooning.

It's October 30th now, and she'll only be able to pass as costumed for another day. However, her spiritual powers are gaining in strength with the approach of the New Moon on November 1 when her spiritual powers will be at their maximum.

Today, Russia has nuked Helsinki in Finland and begun full-scale invasion. Mr. T has praised Russia's brilliance. Numerous nations in the Middle East have pledged alliance with Russia, and are beginning to invade nearby "Westernized" nations in their Jihad. Polls are showing that Mr T is most likely to win the Presidency election in 6 days.

She sighs, she has no milk but maybe she could find a spirit to raise this baby... Her plan to open the Bermuda Triangle into the spirit world and let in a flow of wyld energies isn't one she thinks she can do carrying a baby around, and if the fountain of youth is anything like it is in her world here it would feed this babies needs but it would turn the baby into a spirit plant of some kind that would become a part of the gardan around it.

She thought of who to take it to, a sickly child.... Bear, but bear cleansed the land and there was much to cleanse her children may not have time to rear a sick child. But still she took it and searched for a totem spirit of bear. An avatar, an incarnation, one of her children... it didn't matter she sought out and called for Bear to take care of the child. Bear was a good mother and they where skilled healers, if they had time for the child it would work out well.

Glitch is led by Rat to follow the traditions of the shamans indigenous to this world, so she begins by drumming or rattling with something available nearby, and focuses on her spiritual body to make a journey in the Spirit Realm. Being fully integrated spiritually and physically, this means she opens a bolt hole to the Spirit realm, where the physical body of the baby is located, and carried the baby with her. She grunts and calls to Bear, and a white Black Bear approaches her and says, "Greetings, daughter of Rat. The child will remain with you spiritually. You don't need to do anything for her for now. When the time is ripe and the place is right, you will know in your heart it's time to depart. Your role is merely to transport the child until she is in the right place.

"By the way, the Fountain of Life is not physically in this world's physical realm at this time. It is waiting to be opened by the people of this world at the right time. It's time is soon. Do your work for Wyld. The time is ripe."

After they're done, the Spirit Black Bear departs and Glitch returns to the physical world, leaving the physical baby behind in the Spiritual Realm, yet clinging to Glitch's spiritual self.

Glitch notices that it is no longer noon, but now 10am at least a day later.

Shrugs and finds some place with wifi and accesses the worlds internet and tries to find information on places she knows from her world that the power of the wyld flowed through into the world. All in told there was 12 in her world, equally spaced, at the points the weavers walls where at it's weakest. Four or five where particularly strong..  Bermuda, and Devil's triangle to name some.... she looked into them....   She also looked into anything going on in the depths of Africa... as this was the birthplace of life and where Gaia's heart was. She also looked for any signs of a machine god in the web... she had already heard a lot of signs of a patriarch though she didn't think they knew this was the name of the incarne of dogma.

She finds all sorts of unreliable information about ley line convergences...

But as she thinks about it, the Blood calls her to meditate and Journey again. When she does so, she finds a group of rats who lead her through a bolt-hole in the Spirit Realm to Rat. Rat greets Glitch and through the Blood transmits the knowledge of a concentration of Wyld in Greenland, Puerto Rico, Bermuda Triangle, and Ukraine. There are others, but these are the ones she highlights for Glitch. ((The spirit of Rat didn't give me anything else.))


There are rumors on the Deep Web about various AIs loose on the internet, and possibly in development by various militaries - especially in China, the US and Russia. None of these AIs seems to be anywhere near as powerful as the AIs from ((that world with the Broken Table and such - what was the name of that world?)) and probably not even quite sentient, though Glitch can tell that they do have a simple not-yet-fully-awakened spirit. Travelling to the Spirit Realm of the internet, she finds the place flooded with Rust and Wyrm and corruption. There is also some Spark, but Weaver and Wyrm are strongest on the internet. The spirit realm of the internet is practically on fire with the influence of Rust and Steel, Spark is struggling to survive there, being suffocated by the battle between Rust and Steel. It's still a very primordial environment, and once it ages enough, Spark will take prominence, but it will require an evolution of the humans on the planet before the environment of the internet can support life and Spark.

It is Halloween. Her spiritual strength is at its greatest tomorrow. A group of 70 Shamans has contacted her and is requesting that they be included in the ritual she is going to perform. There are some at each of the locations she was given information about. They were informed by their totem spirits that they were to participate and add their loving-awareness to Glitch's ritual.

While in the internet she unleashes the freakachu though..... the spirits of this worlds internet has likely never dealt with the likes of an awakened electricty rat spirit bent on pure chaos.... that should breed some wyld energies on the web.... maybe it will have some babies or something before it comes back to her.  It will likely be seen as the worlds worse computer virus, a self aware one that just eats data and overheats systems.

She heard about the people gathering in south amarica and Puerto Rico was close to there and one of the anchors to the triangle so seamed like a good place to go if there was shamans gathering there. However if there was shamans interested in doing any ritual to help gaia she would rather try and do it near Gaia's naval, her heart in Africa.
