Glitch 1.3

As the lightning envelopes her body, Glitch's electrical capacity is overloaded, but she isn't electrocuted - instead, she is painlessly transitioned into a death-state. For a moment, her body becomes completely spirit, and then her spirit-body vanishes and she is left with no thought and no sensation, only awareness. There isn't even the passage of time, only the now-moment. Then the awareness perceives absence, and then there is presence. Absence and presence oscillate faster and faster, and the awareness senses the passage of time. Then light and dark differentiate from the oscillation, and color appears. The process speeds up such than she is no longer able to keep track of the individual steps. Light contacts to form matter, matter vibrates to form heat and sound. An explosion of differentiation brings the appearance and passing of life, and universes. Multiverses zoom past as her awareness expands beyond them in scope, losing resolution of each previous level. States of existence that are beyond the capacity of words to denote or minds to comprehend fly past her awareness. Finally she sees the smiling face of the Avatar, and she opens her eyes.

Her lungs fill with poisonous acidic gas with her first breath. She is laying on a rocky surface and the atmosphere is a green gaseous acid. There are no structures nearby, only rocky surface.

There is an extremely distant scriff-vector up and to one side, but it's not even in the same direction as any of the three visible moons or the 5 visible suns.

All biases are normal, except tech and physical biases are highly advantaged.

She can't be bothered at this time to remember everything she sees in there, but a few moments of searching yields nothing of any help. It seems Slotter had given up most of his worldly possessions already. ((Normally, 1d4 if greater than 1 it's there - up to 43 different items in total))

But, there is lots of fresh air in the hyperdimensional space of the backpack.

((Hint: water can be turned into acid by adding Chaos, and it's cold enough here to freeze water.))

Notices snow when she choas heals, so yes does palse the area making a dome of ice and clear air then dives into the backpack leaving it open so air escapes. She uses scrounge with a bost from the exstra chaos to search the contents for bits of metal, fabric, and tubing.

If she finds everything she crafts a crude mask and uses the clip with a moebius strip in it binding ether a plant spirit or air spirit to use the moebius strip to ether turn her cow to o2 or filter her air making it into an infinite rebreather.

Though likely the best she could get here is some kinda mold spirit but that would be fine just means only she could use it with out getting sick. (Or some one with disease imunity)

She also takes the time to take human form and bind the eyes she got to her soul so she can use them in rat form.

Then she gets out and looks around to try and get more info on her surroundings.

*Roll & Advance & Learn Somatic Body Modification*
She is fully healed, but in the process, she feels an immense release of tension and Chaos from her eye sockets as she heals in two ways at once - she can now switch at will between natural eyes and cybernetic eyes at will - her body has made the cybernetic eye part of her optional DNA code.

*Rolls & advances & Learn Boost Spiritual Magics*

quote:
binding ether a plant spirit or air spirit to use the moebius strip to ether turn her cow to o2 or filter her air making it into an infinite rebreather.

When she seeks for a spirit to bind to the breather mask, she only finds one viable spirit - an extremely ancient megafauna serpent which generated its own atmosphere, teraforming the planet in the process. The creature was slain by the native inhabitants billions of years ago, but is willing to take up residence in the mobius clip after Glitch's very polite request. In order for this sequence of events to happen, a divergent version of Glitch attempted to force the spirit to reside in the clip, and suffered horribly for a very long time before everything was made right. That Glitch prayed that she might prevent other versions of herself from that mistake. How fortunate.

The already de-corrupted spirit calls itself Contra, and immediately starts converting the every gas that touches it into a breathable atmosphere.

quote:
Then she gets out and looks around to try and get more info on her surroundings.

She begins walking around the rocky terrain, and soon realizes that she is on a plateau off the edge of the plateau, her eye reports that the atmosphere is acidic for about 10,000 feet down the cliff. Then for about 100,000 feet the atmosphere is neutral - mostly water, carbon dioxide and oxygen. Then from 110,000 feet down to the the ground a further 300,000 feet the atmosphere was very high on the PH scale - higher than bleach.

She also notices that her body seems to be able to put up with the acid, and is healing faster than the acid can burn her.

*rolls etc*

Her cyber-eyes pick up life in the valley far below, and show that the entire plateau seems to be lifeless, but also seems to create the map of a labyrinth from above https://wp-media.patheos.com/b...6/02/RockyValley.jpg - she can't quite make out the shape with her cybernetic eyes because of the angles and resolution, but her natural eye is able to pick up the shape and feed the information to her Maze Mapping mind.

She also senses that the Wyld Weaver and Wyrm energies here are in a kind of braided pattern of balance, with one rolling over the other in turn and in balance over time. At the moment, Wyld is more heavily balanced than Weaver or Wyrm.

She also sees in her imagination, the spirit of the planet - and an avatar of the spirit of the planet appears in her imaginal sight (not exactly the same as spiritual sight). The avatar is a Green furred humanoid bulldog dressed in gym clothes ((like this, but green https://i.pinimg.com/originals...d9cea186e0ca0ae7.png )) They say, "Hey, Glitch! Daing, rat, how's it goin'? Where you been at?"

(glitch wouldn't force a spirit to bind with anything unless it was temporary and she was in a rush.)

She asks if the spirit had any eggs or the like that may lay dormant some where, this planet looks like it could use it's kind, maybe she could impart to the locals that they are needed for the planet to mature/heal.

She starts to climb down into the life band in the valley when the spirit dog shows up. She blinks a few times canting her head to one side. "We take it we have/will meet before in the future/past?"

The spirit laughs, and the avatar of the planet says, "Please don't reintroduce that invasive species into my ecosystem again. The invaders were contacted and have withdrawn their forces, and I'm very carefully orchestrating the balance of my ecology and the evolution of my creatures. You're here for a reason, but I'll let you know if you're getting off track. Otherwise, I'll just be hanging with you here in your imagination. You call me _____ by the way."

After about an hour climbing down, Glitch is hanging on to a seemingly solid rock, when the rock suddenly shifts and falls with her on it. She's now in a free-fall and has been pushed off and away from the cliff a bit.

Right now would just call him Sender because thats a mouth full..... she dose respond going "Yah that is a mouthful. And hard as balls to say."

Lets her self fall till she's facing the cliff side again and used leap of the kangaroo to jump to it digging her claws in. She's fairly good at climbing and there is a gift called skitter that even lets her climb along a sheer surface, upside down, so if she activates it she should be able to dig her claws in and stop herself from falling. Then climb the rest of the way down.

Then she remembers the knife and just tries to get down enough she can see where life is and teleport nearby so she can get a closer look. feeling a little silly to be climbing around.

Just as she tries to leap, the section of rock she was clinging to as it fell, juts off to the side from bouncing off of an outcrop that seemed like it wasn't there a minute ago, ruining her momentum and causing her to spin instead of move toward the cliff. As she pulls out the knife, a stone falling from above hits the knife, causing it to soon away from her. Her momentum and speed have already increased enough, though that before she has time to do anything else, she lands like Wonder Woman, making a dent in the ground, but leaving her safe and sound.

Tries to catch the knife with her tail as it falls for style points.  =p

Sighs, taking a moment to self groom after that fall and looks around. Not sure why that didn't hurt but assumes she is changing in more ways than she knows.... or maybe it was a gift from one of the world celestials that have been so nice to her. Guess they find this scriff stuff rather interesting, or at least entertaining, to be so chatty.

She looks around to see what life is down here though.

Glitch catches the knife, wrapping her tail around the handle, and looking like a badass.

quote:
She looks around to see what life is down here

There is an abundance of vegetation, but most of it is no bigger than her thigh, and there aren't any trees bigger than her. Most of the creatures are less than an inch tall, and only a few lizards are even as tall as her knees. Tiny flying bat-like lizards dart here and there, and hundreds of gnat-sized birds fly near the tree tops.

She sees a collection of tiny houses, none bigger than an inch tall, all enclosed in a clearing against the wall, with a stone fence about the size of Glitch all the way around it.

Suddenly, she finds herself surrounded by anthropomorphic fur covered green creatures about 1/8 inch tall. One of them climbs her within a few seconds, and stands on her nose, staring into her eyes. It waits a moment, then pokes her with a tiny spear, which feels like a splinter just scratching the surface.

But then they all move around alot really fast, some go off, most stay behind. Then, about 5 seconds after he jumped down, the little guy rapidly scales back up to her nose.

He thinks at her, Hey

By the time she thinks "if we", half of the gathered little people have dispersed, and they've established a supply line from the city to Glitch, and a defensive perimeter around her and the remaining people gathered. Les than a second after she begins to transform, probably most of the city has returned. They move around really quickly, even for their size.

The little guy who was on her nose thinks at her Wow!

Then by the time she finishes thinking "better?", they've already built a stone replica of Glitch.

Just then, a very fast (but not as fast as the little guys) lizard about the same size as Glitch's rat form, leaps into their midst and bites down on a mouthful of them and tries to retreat. Some of them who are armed with spears, attack the lizard, showing it down enough for Glitch to catch it, but otherwise it looks like it'll get away into the tiny jungle.

She catches the lizard, mainly because it's on her scale of size, and examines it. How where they moving so fast. They where not eating enough for the kinda of insane matabilizisem it would take to have that kinda movement non stop. Was there something with the flow of time here? She could ramp up her senses and movement to match but not for long.... not non stop. She scaned the lizard over trying to figure it out, pinning it down if she could do so with out hurting it. She didn't want to use anything on it that might taint any results.

If it fought back she would push the fight away form the village if she could, and she would try to just stick to being a bigger rat or something to hold it down to exsamine it.

Once she's immobilized it, the furry little people pry it's mouth open with their spears and free the people it had begun to chew. There is little person blood everywhere, limbs torn off, people almost completely skinned, offal protruding and even a few skulls showing their partial brains. But within a few short seconds, all who survived are almost completely healed, with limbs and skin regrown and organs all back in place and inside. The lizard manages to swallow the limbs that were severed.

((Well, actually, they were eating every few minutes, it just wasn't important to me enough to mention it. But good catch, their metabolism mostly makes sense.))

They do have an extremely efficient metabolism, and she can tell from her Sight abilities that they're converting ambient spiritual energy into somatic energy to make up the difference. She can also duplicate what they're doing even more efficiently than she already can. Now she could keep up with their speed indefinitely.

quote:
If it fought back she would push the fight away form the village

*Roll & gain Somatic Strength*
It does fight back with significantly more strength than it should have for its size, it seems to be capable of lifting 250 lbs even though it weighs less than 2 lbs. But in struggling against it, Glitch feels her own muscles popping and snapping and rehealing rapidly until she's more than capable of overcoming its disproportionate strength.

Once it's been fully immobilized and overpowered by Glitch, and now that Glitch is moving as fast as the little people, the little people run up to the lizard with spears in hand, ready to hunt the lizard for their own meat. They nod at Glitch in gratitude, spears lifted high.

((I really enjoy how you think of things I hadn't considered - like biting off the tail.))

The little guys celebrate the gift of the tail and the leader who had climbed Glitch rubs some twigs together until they start smoking, then flower into the sensual slow dancing flame. Someone fans the flame while another feeds it more twigs. Another stabs the tail in places and shoves arm-sized herbs into the holes. The leader gestures and two of them hoist the tail over the flame to cook it. A smell like rotisserie chicken slowly fills the air.

Nobody has spoken words aloud, though they have made noises of celebration.

While the tail cooks, the leader approaches Glitch's nose and his scent subtly changes this way and that as he thinks at her without words, using mostly feelings of scent (automatically interpreted by the telepathy): Gratitude, awe and amazement. Images of Glitch descending from heaven and creating (non-harmful) earthquakes throughout the valley. Then images of the unbelievably huge Glitch combined with admiration. Then the transformation into a mouse, which takes hours, combined with love and appreciation for condescension. Then fear with the lizard followed by more gratitude and joy with the tail. Then a sense of query and confusion and a confused repitition of the words Glitch thought.

Being a Chaos Mage, her innate Chaos interpretation translates the subtly changing scents as, "Wow! Thanks! A good god from on high has graced us! You came down to our level, not holding on to your power and might, rescued us from the dragon, and fed us without permanently harming it! Why do you use 'words', and why can I hear them in my head? This is new, I've never heard or sensed the thoughts of another before, and I've certainly never experienced 'words'."

Then, when the tail has been fully cooked, they give half of it to Glitch (she's only a little hungry - enough to eat maybe 1/4 of what they gave her) and the rest of those nearby gather and are each given a portion - children, elders and pregnant women first, then everyone else. The leader is the last to receive a portion.

When Glitch saw the maze with one exit and one path from above, she noticed that she was landing near the center of the maze. The little stone-walled village is at the furthest point possible from the exit.

She tells them words was a gift from the weaver, a primal force of order, they allow recording thoughts and sharing them in ways you consistent about there meanings. She didn't mean to share the gift with them but figured Sender knew she would so it's fine, besides she leaves it to them to figure out words if they chose to use them.

She removes what she needs to eat from the tail and shares the rest so they can have extra portions or save some for later.

The leader closes his eyes and repeats the name three times, then breathes really fast about 17 times. When he opens his eyes a moment later returning to normal breath, he thinks at Glitch the feeling of self-designation and then the thought-sounds, ~Setthoshel~ with the meaning of Spirit Chosen Leader and then the feeling of the tiny green-furred people group designation and then the thought-sounds, ~Amkelevadam~ with the meaning of People of loyal-love and dirt. This is Chaos-translated as I'm Setthoshel and we are the Amkelevadam.

quote:
She removes what she needs to eat from the tail and shares the rest so they can have extra portions or save some for later.

The extra portions are taken by a group back to the city to share there.

quote:
She meditates for a while to try and get a feel for the balance of things here

Wyld and Wyrm are in complete cooperation with each other here, both maximizing the effects of the other. Like the tail of the lizard, anything that dies is very quickly decomposed and distributed around to fertilize new life. When a tree loses a branch, new life sprouts out of the cracks. When a tree is partially burned by something, sometimes new growth creates interesting fractal shaped trees, sometimes a fungal-plant symbiosis forms. All of the dead wood is used very quickly. Only Weaver is a little bit weaker here, but that is only because Weaver energy is just now budding out of the Spirit realm into the physical plane. The entire planet is an intricate and mature balance of Wyld Wyrm and Weaver, even Corruption exists only in a controlled and balanced mode of existence - kept at bay and prevented from causing irrevocable harm. Corruption is being used like a spiritual Wyrm, Woven into becoming a Wyld fertilizer.

There is a pathway of evolution laying before the tiny green furred people, and it is the pathway out of the labyrinth.

quote:
asks the leader to tell her about the valley

Translated, what Setthoshel says is, "Matter, the mother of life, through Somasaikee Natoclasta Send Idmeistra our creator, held us in her heart as she chose a rock in all the sea of the night and placed it near to a jewel which would give life - the sun above. The love in the heart of our creator became the life that we are. In this valley, there are many trials of survival. Creator has provided us with challenges to keep us full of life and love. The dragon-tail we just ate reminds us that we are part of the body of life and those whom we become are within us even now. We cultivate the life around us to support us without taking away from it since it is part of us. In this valley, some of the trials we face include the dragons ((size of a mouse)), and the great dragons ((size of a cat)). The mountain dragons ((lizards the size of a dog to a dinosaur)) ignore us.

"The river of life flows in from up the valley, and sinks into the deep well behind the village under the great wall. Mermaids in the under-sea sing stories ((without words)) of the great meandering river of the under-sea which flows hotter and hotter until at its end, it boils away into the highest heavens. From there, the seeds of the winds sing stories ((also no words)) of the great world-ocean teeming with life, which receives the water of the under-sea and returns it to the great island mountain where it pours in as a great waterfall to become the river of life."

((Fair point. Glitch is in the Bleach-zone - everything in this region is bathed in a gaseous PH basic atmosphere that it would quickly kill ordinary Earth lifeforms. Glitch's automatic healing is keeping up with the demand on her system to continuously heal her from the chemical burns before they become visible or even painful. There is a river which slowly diminishes as it descends from outside the labyrinth. The lowest point of the entire pathway is the little village, and the last single-droplet tinkle of the river descends on a hydrophobic surface through the bottom of the village and down a crevice beneath the central wall. These creatures evolved here under the supernatural glow of the sun which produces a Superman-like biology for all lifeforms, and which provides hyper-speed in-life evolution. Ever see Dragon Ball Z? Remember how no matter how beaten Goku got, he always came back stronger? That's these guys, with leveled up challenges along the path as they ascend - designed to help them to evolve into more and more wonderful and naturally strong yet balanced constantly evolving creatures to be prized. Sender was never a big fan of magic that the mind controlled - preferring natural magic and physical peak. Magic of matter and heart for a people of matter and heart. Amkelevadam would be literally translated as people-dog-humans or people-of-loyal-love-and-matter because that is literally what they are. Kelev (a Hebrew word) means dog, and it also means "that which is loyal love" (or something like that involving 'loyal love' for sure). But this isn't like Goku, just beating his way to the top - this is something entirely more beautiful.))

Well seeing as weaver is not fully in balance here feels it's safe to gift them with language... least put the spark in there mind and help guide them to the discovery of there own language. So they may pass down there culture more easily. Record there knowledge and music gifting such simple things may make her like a god to them but guesses that is fine long as she only acts as a guide... letting them figure things out on there own.

She will slow herself down for a while, while they figure out language and study them and other life trying to figure out there broader range PH resistances so the acids and bases don't harm her so much. It is physically and spiritually draining to heal so much, and she would have to eat more if she keep it up.... that or meditate much more.

She won't help them any unless they are struggling baddly, not even telling them they can record things down just that language is used to pass things on.... she will let them figure out it can be recorded on there own.

The way her body was, this would have been true. But this place has significantly strengthened her body's already impressive regenerative ability to the point that she won't need to worry about chemical burns or even about eating as long as she is in a place with natural life. Her mere enjoyment of the natural beauty around her and exposure to sunlight is being converted from spiritual energy directly to biochemical energy.

((Relative to the village, where will she wait, and what form/size will she wait in? She'll find it easier to slow down in her larger forms than in her smaller forms. I'll assume regular Ratkin size & shape, and that she told them what she was doing))

Every day, Amkelevadam go to Glitch to hang out nearby her and meditate. Glitch slows herself down enough that their normal walking looks like the Flash - a little blue-green streak.

After about 200 of their years go by (for Glitch, about 200 seconds) one of them who had been meditating on Glitch's nose for longer and longer periods of time suddenly gets up at her speed and speaks in a language with similarity to ratspeak, but completely their own. It is Chaos Translated automatically.

"Greetings honored one. My name is Frank. How has your meditation been?" As he speaks, a steady stream of fast paced Amkelevadam visit him and Glitch, meditating for many of their hours at a time.

At this time, the city has upgraded its walls to a stronger material and a more mathematical design. Their buildings are larger, and the village has pushed the boundary wall out further to accommodate the larger buildings. The population count has not changed. The hunters are using bows and arrows in addition to spears and spear launcher sticks. There is a stone astrological calendar being constructed for the last 50 of their years, but it's not finished.

Glitch 1.3

She speeds up ... she don't know if these things age but if they do she don't want it to have to leave it's family behind to talk to her. "We find it quite restful.  No shrine ...no rites but we are at peace.... this is ... strange to us. This place is safe and strong." She is quite relaxed. "The air burns us but we grow use to it.. we could go many years with out eating like this we think..." She slowly shrinks down giving time for the little one to scurry off her. "We see the weaver has gifted you with science, and our guidance to find the gift of language has awoken that gift much more." if prodded what science is she don't explain right now and says that understanding the nature of the gift is a gift in and of itself they must figure out on there own. "Tell us how Amkelevadam fair and what they have learned..." While they talk she examines the astrological calendar. "We are also curious how you slowed your mind and body down to talk to us... impressive and curious... did you learn this only to speak with me?"

Glitch 1.3

Also if they do not tell her themselves she will pry there relationship with the land ... do they take from it with out giving back....or do they give more than they take... how do they treat what they hunt and the dragons that come. The stones did they come from the rivers, open quarries, or did they get mined out? Stuff like that.

During her meditation did she get the feeling they should be migrating to the end of the maze or expanding that way?

And is the one talking to her the same one as before?  From its smell she could tell and that would be a good give away these things dont age super fast too.

Glitch 1.3

quote:
She speeds up

As she is shrinking, she finds her body continues to morph down past mouse form until she is in the form of an Amkelevadam.

*gain Somatic skill: 3/3 Were-What (morph body into the basic form of any biological creature you touch, or see at 7/7, and equal powered form at 10/10 and even the peak-form of that creature once at 15/15)*

Immediately many of the little people begin to join them all.

quote:
We find it quite restful.  No shrine ...no rites but we are at peace.... this is ... strange to us. This place is safe and strong." She is quite relaxed.

Lots of them nod sagely. The area truly is very peaceful, and bathed in a tranquil energy.

quote:
we could go many years with out eating like this we think.

This peaks the interest of a number of the meditators who'd been there for quite some time.

quote:
"Tell us how Amkelevadam fair and what they have learned..."

Frank explains, "When you first entered into your deep meditation, we divided ourselves into four different groups.

"One group studied words and how to use them. We spent many years in deep meditation on what the meaning of the sounds in and of themselves were; how they made us feel, and how they affected the world around us. We continue to speak with the spirits of the world around us to understand how words could be used, and what they could be good for. We were delighted when we realized that we had done the right thing and not completely given ourselves all over to the use of language when it was realized that language in and of itself has a tendency to constrict a person's ability to think and understand the world around them.

"One group continued to use sent and hormones to communicate thoughts and ideas to one another. This we realized, was our own natural language, and we did not wish to lose it.

"Another group developed the ability to use heart-speak ((telepathy)) and committed to communicating to others directly and solely through thoughts and feelings utterly bypassing sent except when related to a smell, and words except when related to a sound.

"The fourth group committed themselves to being able to communicate with each of the other three groups. These studied each of the three ways, trying to determine which would be best. It was soon discovered, that none of these three ways were the best of the three ways. Language was great for inventing new ideas that no one had considered, simply by the accidental interpretation of words. When somebody misunderstood something, it was... It had the capacity to produce new ideas and new thoughts which had previously been unthought. It was realized that our natural communication through scent was beneficial for us partially due to our size and the ability of our bodies to generate the required scents without thought, and therefore to communicate very quickly without needing effort on our part. Our bodies in and of themselves were the communicators of our thoughts emotions and ideas. This also completely prevents the possibility of lying, or indeed of miscommunication. The benefit to this method is that it allows us to maintain the specificity of information and the continuity of knowledge, it is also really good for communicating in a battle against dragons. Also, it allows us to communicate with many of the other species in our world. Plants, insects, and other creatures of all sorts use scent to communicate various different concepts, and in our ability to interpret (as well as produce) those scents, we have the ability to speak directly with the physical bodies in the world.

"Once it was determined that all three ways together were best, then we set about figuring out which would be best to learn in which order. For us, scent, thought and then words seems to be the most effective order which produces the most intelligence and wisdom. At that point, half of his learned all three ways, and the other half remained divided among the three paths to explore what may come of those paths.

"Other than that, we've improved our building and hunting techniques."

quote:
We are also curious how you slowed your mind and body down to talk to us... impressive and curious... did you learn this only to speak with me?

"Indeed. I spent a few years practicing meditation next to you, then one time I realized I was hearing your heart beat very slowly, so I tried to slow myself down. It took a few more years, but then I gave up and suddenly entered into a peaceful quite space in my mind and found myself aware of everything in the universe including you and your interesting history. From that space I could find nothing impossible, so I allowed my body to slow down to match your pace."

quote:
relationship with the land ... do they take from it with out giving back..

"Life is balance. When one of us dies ((always from violence of some sort, never from age or illness)), their spirit returns to the Mother Tree, and they return to us with memories and conscience cleared and fresh in a new body. So when we take from anyone, we take only what is needed and the spirits have taught us to seek permission when we are able. Then, when we are able, we give back to what has given us life.

"The spirits of the dragons tell us that we must grow up. They warned us of the coming Winter, so we are creating the calendar to understand what they meant. We were not aware of the passage of time until you arrived. So now we begin to prepare."

quote:
During her meditation did she get the feeling they should be migrating to the end of the maze or expanding that way?

The spirits tell Glitch that in order to survive the eventually coming Winter, the Amkelevadam will have to make their way to the outside of the Labyrinth, passing through every challenge.

quote:
And is the one talking to her the same one as before?

No. In fact, while they're talking, Sethhoshel shows up and greets Glitch in their new language, letting Frank finish.

She is again quite impressed with them.... and is amazed by her own new ability.

She shares that she is proud of them and that they can record there knowledge with language too, again though leaving them to figure out how. She will help them with the calander explaining she don't know how far off the winter is but maybe with this they can figure this out.... and shares that the spirits tell her they must migrate out of the vally before the winter comes.

She tells them they can leave there homes behind if they need to, time and nature will reclaim them... but it is something they should meditate on and ask Sender... and if it is ok they should pray to Sender, letting him know they are returning what they borowed from him back to him and that this place that was once there home is for the forest once more. Creating a ritual for founding a new home and for returning it to the earth is important ways to stay in touch with Sender and his spirits.

She also teaches them the ritual of the hunt, a two part ritual that blesses a hunt adapting it to ask for senders guidance.... and the second part thanking the spirit of the kill, though she adapts it to thank the animal being wounded for the meal.

She shares a few rituals like this that help strengthen there bounds with the spirits.... but not to many enough to inspire them to develop more of there own.  Spirits apreshate when you comune with them and they do it already but a ritual helps. She don't want to give them to much to inspire riligous dogma, but enough that they will deviloup a spirutal cluture as it will likely lead to the spirits gifting them with abilities to help them.

Glitch 1.3

Glitch feels called to wait further up the valley beyond anywhere they've yet ventured, and wait until they are established there. She finds a nice boulder to sit on and feels called to wait there in a cat-sized Amkelevadam form. A few of the meditators, including Frank, followed her and sat to meditate with her.

quote:
She shares that she is proud of them

While she is waiting, the people develop a strong sense of positive self-regard - they care for themselves and one another equally, even as much as a mother cares for her children, they all care for one another and themselves and even their environment and its members.

quote:
and that they can record there knowledge with language too, again though leaving them to figure out how ... She will help them with the calander explaining she don't know how far off the winter is but maybe with this they can figure this out....

As they are working out the calendar, they consult with Sender and others are gifted with Mathematics first. They work out a system of numbering, and figure out that the sun, which has appeared to be rising from the top of the Northern edge of the valley wall from their earliest living memory ((one of them is about 3 billion of their relative years old - which converts to about 100 of Glitch's relative normal years)), will set below the edge of the same Northern wall in about 100 of Glitch's relative normal years.

After the written math system is established, it is first used to record musical patterns, and afterward someone assigns vocal phonemes a numerical identity, thus establishing a mathematically accurate complete phonetic alphabet.

quote:
and shares that the spirits tell her they must migrate out of the vally before the winter comes.

They realize that as the sun has been rising, the temperature has been rising with it. The oldest among them reminds them that their earliest memories included surviving in a harsh frozen and icy environment.

quote:
She tells them they can leave there homes behind if they need to, time and nature will reclaim them... but it is something they should meditate on and ask Sender...

Half of them remain behind in the original home, and they establish a constant supply chain of settlements along the Southern wall along the route to the boulder that Glitch meditates on. About a third of their total population settle at the nearest place along the Southern wall to the boulder, and some continue deeper into the valley, even as far ahead as their first home is behind. For them, the entire journey would take a week on foot, non-stop.

In the process of establishing the constant flow of supplies, they create stone-paved roads, wheeled carts, domesticated pack dragons, irrigation, basic permaculture gardening and they completely avoid the creation of money - relying on one another to all support each other.

quote:
and if it is ok they should pray to Sender

They don't understand any difference between 'talk with' and 'pray to' - their understanding of reality doesn't separate spirit from flesh to that degree. To them, talking with spirits is equally as real and certain as talking with one another - there is no real difference.

quote:
letting him know they are returning what they borowed from him back to him and that this place that was once there home is for the forest once more.

Whenever a settlement is established, they draw a circle of stones around it as a defensive wall with strategic gaps. When it is abandoned, they knock the walls down to allow nature full access, and to prevent people from mistaking it as a safe place to rest in. The wall building and tearing down are both made into rituals, adjusted every time by the local Shaman to best fit the situation.

quote:
She also teaches them the ritual of the hunt, a two part ritual that blesses a hunt adapting it to ask for senders guidance....and the second part thanking the spirit of the kill, though she adapts it to thank the animal being wounded for the meal.

Sender differs guidance to his superior, and directs them to ask the universal Creator and giver of life for guidance. Sender is only a small nothing who was given the opportunity to love and provide for them. His guidance will be given, but it doesn't come from him.

quote:
She shares a few rituals like this that help strengthen there bounds with the spirits.... but not to many enough to inspire them to develop more of there own

They have the natural instinct to invent their own ceremonies for their own specific circumstances. The ceremony has no power in itself - it only matters what thoughts and feelings are evoked in the participants. If the ritual needs to change in order to set the right atmosphere, it is changed. Repetition helps, but as soon as it loses its spirit, any ritual is ceremonially released.

quote:
Spirits apreshate when you comune with them and they do it already but a ritual helps. She don't want to give them to much to inspire riligous dogma, but enough that they will deviloup a spirutal cluture as it will likely lead to the spirits gifting them with abilities to help them.

Because they sense the Spirit realm as easily as the physical, this never becomes an issue.

This time Glitch was led and slowed her time down beyond her normal rate until one breath was completed, then she resumed up to their rapid time - 1 day later for her regular time and 83,000 of their years later.

They are now the size of small cats, and appear like anthropomorphized furry dragons (no wings), but are capable of shrinking back to their normal size - their other forms shifting in and out of Spirit-space when they shed or increase mass, but rearranging their matter if shifting physically only. They can appear like any of the creatures they've met so far, including a rat. Frank was the first to greet her in rat-form. Sethhoshel is right behind him. "Greetings, honored one! We are happy to see you once more. Life has changed for us in some ways. We have continued to invent new languages and maths and musics and much more. Personally, I just spent 10,000 'years' in a meditation which seemed to last but 10 seconds to me. Then I spent 10 seconds in meditation which seemed to last 10,000 'years' to me. It was most fascinating to wander around in silence and stillness while everyone else sat motionless as if statues, all around. It was incredible."

Sethoshel adds, "We are so glad to see you again. What are your thoughts? What would you like to know?"

"We have watched and you have been developing well, while keeping a balance with yourself and the spirits. We find it interesting you first recorded math, then used it fir music, and then the math for language. That was inventive, the gift of science inspired you in interesting ways. Most keep there math and language separate so they dont get confused for another but as you said once before confusion can lead to new science."

She also tells them the basic idea of what science is but not putting as much structure to it as the scientific method...may e they can figure out a better method of study. But just explains it's where they study things, try and figure out how they work and how they can be used, and then try and to it till something works. She notes science works a lot better when you talk to spirits but most lesser spirits are 'asleep' not having the power yet to think and speak and it would require waking most objects to ask them questions....  one would ether have to learn to feel an object or awaken it. Felling it can teach one a lot, and objects who's spirits who have been awoken can do much more than answer questions an awoken tool will not dull and will assist in its work. However its mind is simple and it is like hatching an egg you must be ready to take responsibility for it and make sure the new mind is cared for, or the spirits will frown on your actions should you do it to often.

She well take there head shaman and show them how to awaken spirits, and how to feel out emotions knowledge and memories from sleeping spirits.

She will will let the shaman chose what she will awaken in teaching, so long as it's not a foolish choice like a building or the whole village...as it will be abandoned eventually. Long as it's something that is a part of the land that will be cared for, for years, or is something they will take with them its fine.

Glitch 1.3

Again Glitch feels led to go deeper up the valley, this time in human form, climbing over ledges and such, slowing her time until she is walking at about 5 of their regular years for every step. By the time she passes the last settlement and takes 10 steps into the woods, a paved pathway opens up beneath her and before her, always staying just a few steps ahead, and smoothing the path before her. Frank walks with her and talks as they go. Every few asteroids, he blips into fast-speed and returns. After a few minutes of walking, they reach an area filled with boulders and which is impassable for human-sized people.

Speeding up to their normal time pace, she meets human-shaped Frank and Sethhoshel.

quote:
She well take there head shaman and show them how to awaken spirits, and how to feel out emotions knowledge and memories from sleeping spirits.

They don't have a "head" shaman, but their highly respected elders and wise teachers learn the method and pass it on.

The Amkelevadam learn these techniques and deeply emphasize the primary importance of cooperative consenting mutually beneficial action for all - never allowing any  semblance of manipulation or coercion or misrepresentation.

They each choose one item - a Labradorite polished stone, a mushroom grown from spores spread by Glitch when she first arrived, an amoeba that evolved into a probiotic area cleanser, a mirror created by a genius who died mysteriously 50 years before Glitch arrived, a seed discovered feel in a cave during a trance revealed by Sender himself and called the Senderseed.

She likes this idea, and while the shamans may awaken things as needed, for study or for the need of the tribe...she tells them there was a slight momentary misunderstanding in her mind that led to some cultural science..... she thinks, if They agree, there whole race should take part each chosing an item when they are old enough to have the wisdom for such a choice to awaken, and grow and live with that item growing and learning as a pair.

She warns to meditate on awaking though as it transforms the role something has in the world.... fasforwarding its spiritual path by millions (or more) of there years as it takes hundreds of years of caring and love for something to awaken normaly...though she asks if they have found many of there things to have awoken with there accelerated timescale.

She is reminded of such as each of these items could cause problems if awoken depending how they turn out and how they wvolve.....she thinks they will be fine and useful though. The spore might bring food or disease, the cleanser might gift them medicine or leave them dependent on its cleaning and exposed to disease or just eat everything, the mirror could let them see distant places resources and dangers or it could draw in distant dangers, and the seed holds the most potential for good, bad or anything in between.

They are interesting choices and she thinks they where very well made.

When they have meditated and she showed them how to awaken things, it takes some of here spiritual energy ofcorse as it's the equivalent of giving something 1/0 so it can develop 1/1 on it's own. She has a lot of energy but that's still a considerable amount of spiritual energy for anyone who isn't a shaman. The spirit has the physical body of that object till the object is destroyed if it's not a living thing, plants and animals awoken are like people just becoming intelligent beings and tend to have longer lives tied to there spiritual strength, and deseased bacteria and spores and the like tend to have one spirit in a hive mind to all the mass in one place in one lifeform or the like...like a small scale spiritual macro organisim.

She warns the ones bonding with the spore and probiotics that they will need hosts to bond with when they awaken so they should be doubly sure of there choices.

Once they are done she will check out the barrier.

She also meditates on joining the suggested tradition on what she has that she could awaken.... her first thought is the bracelet made from Phoenix feather but she is worried considering the power of the Phoenix itself..... creating a child of it might be disastrous. Awakening a consept could be even more disastrous as giving a consept free will is not always a good thing...even a fairly well established conceptual. And she wasn't going to try and awaken the nail she had a bad felling about trying that. >.>

Forgot about the stone, she says waking a piece of there father shaped by there hands would give interesting results and likes that it's not made into anything ... let it chose what it will be.

OOC

ome would like to see your idea or outcomes but I want to share my sugestions too ^.^ the rock would be difficult it would be slow and simple minded like teaching a child that moved at a snails pace compared to you..guied by there hands it might trust them more than other spirits... it would be a test of patience and help people slow down trying to deal with the rock spirit. It would be difficult to talk to it would understand little and think at the speed you would expect a pebble ..... troublesome but would gift wisdom in the long run not just from the wisdom it has but from the ordeal of working with it....

The spores could be from the mushroom mice bond with there body making them much more in touch with plants they could spread there children to create fungal network through crops letting them know the conditions of the plants and letting the plants communicate and share nutrients.. basically they could be farming specialized fungal druids

The probiotics after bonding could spread there children to others and use those children to heighten the health and cure diseases in others, aswell as cleanse any toxic areas.

The Mirror could act as a scrying mirror and a means of communication with distant spirits, and a tool for astral protection and looking into ones own mind.... other stronger mental things

The seed is a little to dependent on what the seed is XD

This becomes part of a rite of passage which is specially adapted for each young Amkelevadam (and everyone else alive when it was first started).

quote:
as it takes hundreds of years of caring and love for something to awaken normaly

At least in this universe, objects are awake at the same time-scale as the entity that woke them up. A year is a year, however long it is relative to others' scales.

quote:
Once they are done she will check out the barrier.

((Not sure what you meant, but...))
The deepest settlement up the valley toward the source of the river and the exit to the labyrinth is at the edge of a cliff. The cliff is as tall as a skyscraper, runs the length of the valley connecting to both walls. It overhangs the entire length at a 45 degree angle, so that the top of the cliff is about as far away from the base of the cliff as it is above. Attempts have been made to build a ladder or a ramp, but a certain monkey-mole creature who lives in caves around the cliff keeps dismantling anything that comes close to making a pathway they could climb.

It becomes Keeper of Knowledge - an ever evolving heuristic collective experience of the Amkelevadam. Ultimately, it contains in its crystals the complete lives and awarenesses of all Amkelevadam from the time of its awakening to the present-ish moment. Occasionally it is prophetic. At first, though it has all this information to access, it doesn't understand yet, and is much like an infant. Over hundreds of years it gains in wisdom, but remains slow to think. Yet a mind which takes 10 minutes to answer why the sky is blue, considers everything anyone has ever considered about the subject according to logic and wisdom and it is thinking. It's a slow current, but the deepest ocean. The very act of asking it a question requires careful thoughtful understanding of the question and it's parts as well as your own biases. Without clear and accurate phrasing, the question answered may not even remotely resemble the intended question - though they'll probably be more useful questions to have asked.

The awakened spores become symbiotic with the Amkelevadam and their permaculture environment. They are a yeast which live in the blood of the Amkelevadam and in the liquid in plants. They act like a slime-mold in the ground, extending single-celled amoeba-like tentacles into roots and fibers - exchanging nutrients and information with the plants and insects to mutually strengthen the environment for all. Their spirit form is a chatty mushroom with gender (like icecream has flavor).

The amoeba hangs out in the cooking areas, and keeps the food-preparation areas free from contaminants. It also keeps the source-water clean and probiotic.

The Mirror has access to the knowledge of the Stone, and is the awareness behind dreams. Of course, it communicates much like dreams communicate.

The seed is awakened and placed in water. Normally it would have changed the water into a gel which could be spread over something to create a living wood bark which would grow, creating branches and leaves, photosynthesizing sunlight and water absorbed from the air or through roots to the ground.

She has flashes of reverse-memories from future Divergent selves:
quote:
She also meditates on joining the suggested tradition on what she has that she could awaken.... her first thought is the bracelet made from Phoenix feather but she is worried considering the power of the Phoenix itself.....

This created a Chaos Cybernetic Phoenix familiar who would appear whenever he is needed. He grew from chick to adult in exactly 1,814,413 seconds - which was 3 weeks and 13 seconds. He had a nanite/cybernetic/organic/spiritual body, and could enter data systems like the Freakacho does. He also happened to be a minor Chaos Elemental - a baby deity.

quote:
Awakening a consept could be even more disastrous as giving a consept free will is not always a good thing...even a fairly well established conceptual.

This created Razor Debater: a logic and reason genius who could dissect any concept and cause others to question their own reasoning enough to potentially change their attitudes if possible. The only thing is, he likes to debate with everybody, including breaking 4th walls.

quote:
And she wasn't going to try and awaken the nail she had a bad felling about trying that. >.>

Some say every tool is a hammer. For Ball Nail, everything is a board. He means no harm, and causes no harm to whatever he hammers himself into (when he leaves anything, it's fully repaired/healed). But he changes and inhabits whatever that happens to be. In a board, he became a talking floating round-shield. In a cell-phone, he became an animated antique phone. In a person's hand, he became a talking cybernetic arm. But he never did like to stay in one place for too long. He'd even leave one object for another in the middle of a battle if it helped him win. He's a bit of a hard-head, but he's always on point.

One day, Glitch is led to Chaos-teleport to the top of the cliff when no one is looking, and wait there in slowed-time for a count of 10 breaths. When she breathes the 1st time, Frank sits next to her. On her 10th breath, Sethhoshel arrives. ((How do you think he got up there? I'm still trying to decide which of a few possibilities to choose))

A little chick hatches out of the bracelet. It looks helpless and blind, but senses Glitch's presence and opens its beak in hunger, as a week little voice says, "Mama... empty!"

quote:
They could learn to climb shear walls from the mole monkeys.

For awhile, they shape-shift into mole-monkeys to climb the walls, and the mole-monkeys don't seem to mind. When one falls, it panics but notices a dog-sized dragon-dragonfly nearby, and morphs into a copy, flying back up to the top once it figured out how to fly. Then, a small family of the Amkelevadam who live near the cliff, learn how to become giant dragon-dragonflies, and carry large groups of normal Amkelevadam up to the top.

They have entered into a more dangerous part of the valley. Creatures here are as tame as hungry Grizzlies, and range from bear-like rhinos to 2-ton six-legged sharks.

What advice does Glitch give them?

She feeds the chick more of her energy, in much smaller amounts till it is full.

She tries to take the form of the crow rats and if able shares this form with the Amkelevadam.

She suggests the return to be to small for the larger slower creatures to catch or care about and avoid there territories as they move forward, and when dealing with them greet them with offerings and treat them with care not to anger them. Treat as if you fear them and show this fear and respect, as she has found such beings like it when others subjugate themselves to them... and otherwise may challenge those that don't. Only dealing with the one others subjugate themselves too could also prevent problems.

They may be allowed then to grow larger and enter deeper into there territories peacefully as they continue to provide them tribute.

It would take time to gain there respect but after time they could walk among them and grow past them.

She feeds the chick more of her energy, in much smaller amounts till it is full.

The chick is mostly interested in chaos energy, but he is also looking for a little bit of physical food, and some electricity as well.

Glitch continues to feed the chick over the course of the three weeks that it takes to grow up. It grows up very quickly, consuming a lot of food as it does, and especially chaos energy. Once it has grown some feathers, it then feeds itself naturally and absorbs its own chaos energy directly from the Sun. It talks to Glitch, and takes on a Chaotic Neutral affiliation, but is completely obedient except when it doesn't want to be.

What does Glitch name it?

quote:
She tries to take the form of the crow rats and if able shares this form with the Amkelevadam.

She is able, and so are they.

quote:
She suggests the return to be to small
...
greet them with offerings and treat them with care
...
Only dealing with the one others subjugate themselves to
...
They may be allowed then to grow larger and enter deeper into there territories peacefully as they continue to provide them tribute.
...
It would take time to gain there respect but after time they could walk among them and grow past them.

At first, they are ignored in their tiny form. But these creatures are also able to change form, and once they notice the tiny Amkelevadam,  they challenge them until the Amkelevadam offer tributes.

The creatures native to this region of the valley are fairly territorial, but are willing to let the Amkelevadam settle in one particular place by the river.

But one particular species a little further in refuses to let them pass. This species is like a bone-armored four armed winged gorilla with a mace-like tail and razor tipped wings. It chases them out and ignores they're tributes. When Sethhoshel tries to reason with one using telepathy, he learns they just want to fight the Amkelevadam - not to the death, just for fun. So then Sethhoshel accepts The challenge and fights the beast. He tries to become the same shape as the beast, but the Beast refuses to fight him in this shape. The beast explains that they will only accept defeat in battle if the Amkelevadam fight as humans or a smaller creature. This battle, Sethhoshel barely escapes alive. However, after a few more attempts, Sethhoshel is able to fight and defeat the creature. Sethhoshel trains the others to fight in the same way he learned how to fight and helps them to increase their endurance and strength. Then he challenges Glitch to a wrestling match, and defeats her - the first 6 times. The seventh time, she defeats him.

This time, the way up and further out of the valley is blocked by flying boulders and rocks. No matter how fast they increase their speed, the rocks increase their speed too. There seems to be no way to avoid being pummeled by the stones (and Glitch is asked not to teach them Teleportation). So Frank and Sethhoshel address the first to simply try to walk through, ignoring the stones. They are pummeled and retreat the first dozen times, but they're bodies become toughened by the experience until they are able to walk through the barrage of inexplicable flying stones without flinching. Being led to do so, Glitch joins them in this, and also gains in endurance.

This time, the way forward is blocked by a sphinx who challenges them in their language, "Come together as one, and I will let you pass."

What advice did Glitch give?

Will name her Apricity or Appy.

Would advise them that some spirits only respect strength with the apes... it can't be helped.

Warns if the sphinx is like the ones she has hurd of they devour those they deem not wise enough. So they should simply try and do as it says and come together. They should have there wisest lead them all in mediating on this if nothing else they can come together in one mind to try and figure out what was meant as there is many interpretations on this and many ways to come together.

Glitch 1.3

Frank and the meditators gather in front of the Sphinx with Glitch and they meditate together.

*Learn Group Journey*

They begin in an open field, each one represented as a totem creature. There are three more present than were meditating. Frank the turtle declares, "We have come to seek the wisdom of the Wind of life about the riddle of the Sphinx."

One of their member who is represented as a striped housecat, speaks in a voice none of them recognize, "It's literal. He's being literal. You're all supposed to learn how to body-morph yourselves into one big creature - including you, Az- I mean Glitch."

When they return from the Journey, Frank informs Sethhoshel about their instructions, and she (Sethhoshel decided to be female for awhile, so he morphed his body and is female now) calls on all Amkelevadam to meet together at the Sphinx on a particular day.

On the appointed day, every single Amkelevadam shows up, and everyone including Glitch works together, holding hands, to body-morph into one being.

*Learn sub-skill: Somatic Body Morph, Conglomerate*

First, everyone morphs themselves into their smallest form as the tiny blue people. Then everyone's cells intermingle and then redifferentiate, leading to a single body and a complex hive-mind.

Although all individual minds remain, a single consensus mind emerges from the group as their awareness becomes singular. Each individual is heard and acknowledged, but the hive-individual acts and makes decisions as a unit beyond any single member. It seems the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, as the intelligence of this new individual with thousands of memory-lives is far beyond any of them. It is able to deduce truths from the experiences of everyone which will be far too great for any individual to recall when they return to their seperate state.

The body is a 10 meter tall Amkelevadam who then morphs into a 10' body similar to Sender's Avatar with a glitch - a blue furred anthropomorphic rat-dog with a muscular physique.

The Sphinx asks, "Who are you?"

"I am Ratkelevadam. Yes, I can answer your next question."

The Sphinx telepathically asks a question too complicated to record in writing, and immediately receives an indescribably wise response.

"Yes," the Sphinx considers, "I see it now. Thank you, wise one." The Sphinx takes flight and disappears into the brightness of the sun above, leaving the path forward clear.

Ratkelevadam differentiates into all of the individual Amkelevadam and into Glitch's entire internal rat colony.

*Gain Differentiate aspect of Conglomerate - Glitch can now become singularly bodied or multiple bodies. Each body inhabited by any number of her individual minds - each with her full somatic abilities, but with mental, magic and spiritual skills distributed according to the strengths of the individual minds in the bodies - knowledge gained by any is added to the whole through reintegration or telepathy*

The next section is contained by forcefields - floating platforms of increasing distance from each other in a vacuum over an abyss. To get through this section, they can't fly, so they all have to jump and become impervious to a vacuum (they are teleported back to the start if they fall).

*Level up Jump and endurance*

Once they reach the other side of the abyss, Sender morphs out of the ground into their presence. First he addresses the Amkelevadam, "Rock on, dudes! I am impressed with your evolution! You're almost finished, now. There are a few more trials for you to make it through, and then... Well, I don't want to ruin the surprise!"

He takes Glitch aside, "I am most grateful for your help in this process, my friend. They'll be able to make it the rest of the way on their own, now, but you're welcome to finish the journey with them if you like. If you'd like me to send you anywhere in this universe, I can do that for you. Is there anything else I can do for you?"

Glitch 1.3

A small portion of her mental colony leaves her and asks to be sent home or to what ever Gaia there is in this universe. The rest region her and she wishes to stay with the Amkelevadam till the end. Though she would spend some time in the vacume area while they settle in on this side. She would like to extend her ability to last in vacumes and in exstream temperatures longer.... as her only other method is quite draining.

Glitch 1.3

Sender draws a circle in the air with his finger, and opens a portal to any place in any universe requested.

Glitch waits behind awhile in the vacuum as the Amkelevadam proceed.

*Increase endurance*

The Amkelevadam enter into a territory where there are two groups of sentient synthetic lifeforms - a more advanced transforming mechanical, and a less advanced servile robot. The robots are treated very poorly by the transformers. There is a factory which automatically produces new robots, but the Transformers remain consistent in their numbers.

The Amkelevadam can see how the Transformers rely on the labor of the robots in order to live the kind of life that they are able to live, and through their interactions with the robots and transformers, teach the Transformers how to more appropriately treat their providers. In addition, they also strengthen the self evaluation of the robots. By the end of about 100 years of robot time (about a week of Glitch's regular time), the Transformers in robots are working together as equals. The robots continue to do the heavy and more dangerous labor, given that they have a constant supply of additional robots as needed. However, when they are damaged or destroyed in the line of duty, the Transformers honor their sacrifice. All the while, researchers are studying how to save the minds of the robots and keep them alive.

The moment that perfect egalitarian peace has been established between Transformers and robots, all of the robots upload their awareness to a mainframe hidden inside the factory, and all of the Transformers recoglomerate with the factory to create a massive transformer / robot. The giant transformer thanks them for their work, and challenges them to a friendly battle. The Amkelevadam ((with or without Glitch)) conglomerate and fight the giant transformer in their giant form.

When the battle is over, the giant Transformer bows and says, "We are eternally grateful to you. It is time for us to go." He flies off into space.

Also, this area of the valley is littered with pieces of machinery (and a small degree of gore). Having melded with Glitch, their bodies had access to her stored disease(s) and nannites, including the genetic nannites from her optional cybernetic goggles. The Transformer is a special conglomerate of genetic nannites. During their battle, the Amkelevadam picked up the ability to transmute into mech Transformers, fully organic and anything in between. ((Due to her cyber-eyes, Glitch could already do this.))

In the next zone, there is another vacuum room. This one also has high levels of radiation with periods of extreme infrared radiation (heat) and periods of below zero temperatures. There are no floating islands, there is only void. Frank and the meditators sit on the cliff in the vacuum and meditate on being aware, and on what awareness is. Frank speeds himself up to his maximum, so that he is able to easily count the beat of Planck-seconds. He remains in this state unmoving for hours in normal time. Then he slows himself down to normal time, looks across the void, and enters into a controlled fall toward his chosen gravitational source. Once he passes to the other side, he returns to teach everyone how to fly.

*Gain Somatic: Personal Gravity & Somatic: Radiovore (energized by radiation)*

It has been such a slow build, that Glitch hadn't noticed until now. The Amkelevadam have developed a Scriff-vector. By intermingling with Glitch's body, they were infected with scriff.

The Amkelevadam have made it out of the Labyrinth. The world is their playground. Sender gifts them the world to play with, rearrange the land with their own strength, and care for the creatures. There is a worldwide ocean teeming with life, and plenty of land in the high-cliffed labyrinth to use for expanding the continent reasonably, and even make an island or two.

There is still one other Scriff-vector in the universe. With her maze-mapping ability and the motion of the planet through space, Glitch had pinpointed the location of the Scriff-vector to the appropriate planet two million galaxies over. Sender can send her there.

Before she leaves, one of Frank's meditating companions asks to join Glitch's colony. ((They'd be totally in your control))

Glitch 1.3

A few of her selves go out to gather the broken pieces from the battle to place them into the backpack, the shed 'skin' and broken the transformer left behind could come in use.... also Appy might want to snack on some?

She stays for a little with the Amkelevadam before she leaves. She see's how they developed there own principles of science, teaches her the human principles of science, teaches them her own principles of science, and teaches them what she has learned from spirits of science.

She tells them long as they keep close to the spirits what they have learned they will do well, they have developed better than any other species she has seen and there parents created them in close balance.... the only others she has seen are her own species but they are too chaotic, and the Ananasi but they are cold and heartless and only act in the interest of balance with out feeling or emotion.  Science will help them learn and grow in any way they chose.... but warns them not to let it lead to too much technology that it leads to inbalance.

Technology is a gift like the trasformers and robots she tells them, but when technology is made for the sake of technology and nothing else it loses all meaning and stagnates. They helped brake that cyle and let them grow again. Technology must always be a product of science naturally .... when science becomes the slave to technology, forced to work to make technology.... it leads down a dark road.   Science sees a problem and looks for an answer.....    you can't demand there be more technology because you like the technology and force science to find that technology for you..... it hurts the spirit of science.

science is born of inivation and creation.... things you can not demand of you can only seak out...

she keep a full lesson on science from them before she was sure they would not fall into this trap so many other races fall into....

after that she will help them settle into there new world for a bit before she prepares to leave them.

she also spends some of that time practicing braking up into her collony to do work... as some would not like to do this as it is new and scary to them..... her mind her body is there safe space, there shrine, there haven..... they would feel in danger and have lots of nervious energy and prone to frinzes where they run.... but she would try and do and try and keep in psycic contact with them while she dose so to keep them calm.... paticuarly ones that are more volitle and likely to freak out.

Fera are a fusion of fusion of human/animal body and a there shapeshifers soul in a perfect fusion.

So they would share the same ratkin soul, she could try and use that to help with the comunication between them keeping there minds linked.

They take all of this to heart, and have developed a tendency to avoid technological solutions, anyway. By having developed as far as they have through natural evolution, and through purposely pushing themselves through difficulty in order to find a solution through greater natural ability, they have virtually no need for technology in the first place. Even the advantages that their genetic cybernetic growths (obtained through the fusion with Glitch) have been added to their natural abilities through the development of different vision cells and other things. ((which reminds me, this would transfer to Glitch also, increasing her somatic sight from 5/5 to 10/10))

In fact, nearly every technological tool that they develop or discover is studied and meditated on, and certain of them press themselves until they are able to naturally accomplish the same task with or within their own bodies.

They don't shun technology, but science is used more as a naturally unfolding tool of advancing their evolution than anything else. They have developed a deep sense of trust in reality, that reality is shaped in such a way that they are benefited by it in the end.

quote:
after that she will help them settle into there new world for a bit before she prepares to leave them

They use the extra stone in the cliffs of the labyrinth to increase the size of the continent, and yet keep the different eco-systems separated and secure from excessive cross-contamination. They quickly adapt to breathing under water, and to surviving in the vacuum of outer-space. As such, they spread outward a little ways into the surrounding planets, and begin to terraform the lifeless planets, one comet at a time (redirecting beneficial comets through their personal gravity - flying up to them and pushing them into useful directions).

Their philosophy is to allow for natural development as much as possible, but they value the expansion of livable environments, and enjoy bringing out life from lifeless areas (when the spirits of those areas are amenable to join in).

Having lived for so long as Glitch, they are still 'Glitch' even when smaller parts of their personality express themselves in the constituent parts. Without even trying, she is able to maintain a constant psychic connection with all parts - similar to how it is when they are collected together, but with the individual ability to act independently toward the common goal.

quote:
So they would share the same ratkin soul, she could try and use that to help with the comunication between them keeping there minds linked.

In fact, even if some form of psychic blocking was used, they'd still be able to communicate with one another.

((are you ready to leave Sender's planet?))

In conversations, Sender ultimately reveals that the entire planet is actually just his back-up brain, and was created many ages ago when his people still only used planet-sized computers to house their intelligence and memories. He mentions that one day in his past, Glitch was his friend (with one of his avatars) on an adventure.

Thinks this explains why he is not like other celestials.....   Also makes note to tell the Amkelevadam to seek permission from a celestel before trying to teraphorm it!

You might not mind a buch of little creatures living on your skin if they didn't do anything to hurt you.... but if they started shaving your fur in your sleep and growing mold on you, you might get anoyed!

She wonders what the Amkelevadam who wants to join her has as a chosen item it awoken? Is it something that will be left behind or is it something it wishes her to take?

Yup, that's why this:
quote:
enjoy bringing out life from lifeless areas (when the spirits of those areas are amenable to join in)

quote:
She wonders what the Amkelevadam who wants to join her has as a chosen item it awoken? Is it something that will be left behind or is it something it wishes her to take?

It was its tail. Its tail developed its own ego, separated and slithered around reformed as a snake-like creature, but eventually rejoined. It named itself Slytherin. Being an awakened part of Salazar's ((the name of the Amkelevadam is Salazar)) own body and therefore part of his spirit, it remained part of his spirit, and he was aware of its experiences even though it wasn't fully aware of his. Now Slytherin is like an avatar of Salazar.

*Through Salazar and Slytherin, Glitch gains Sub-Avatar status - any part of her body which she awakens can become an avatar of herself in the same way as Slytherin is to Salazar - full Avatar status will be available if Glitch meditates on it and is willing to die to obtain Avatar status*

((Salazar or Slytherin may from time to time interject their thoughts like Glitch's other colony members do, but I'd like to maintain control of them for now. If you'd rather have control of them, I don't need it for story purposes, and their character isn't fully developed, so that would be fine too.))

Once things are wrapped up, Sender will send Glitch off to the source of the Scriff vector.

Sender draws a circle in the air, opening a portal and Glitch steps through. The portal closes behind her.

Immediately, the Scriff vector adjusts to being just to the side and down a bit, probably a few hundred miles away on the surface of this planet. Almost as soon as she notes it's new direction, it disappears completely, leaving only the slight Scriff Vector from the Amkelevadam so far distant from where she currently is.

This section of the planet (at least) is a massive abandoned city. There are wheel-less cars in random piles along the road - some seem to have dropped from far above, some stationary where they are. Some are even idling just a few feet off the ground. Traffic signals and advertisements (in a foreign language - translatable through Chaos Translate) are mostly still active, but undirected.
