((I had to research pataphysics a little. Interesting, but I haven't researched enough to understand it.))
Wow.
quote:
Today: Writer, on behalf of Jack, rolled 22 using 6d6 ((2,4,5,5,4,2)).
This was for the Dragon instincts to kick in and Jack to create a ball or not. Not only is the roll high enough, it's a symmetrical proportional palindrome. This is a clear success and recieved the natural palindrome bonus that I just created because of how much I love palindromes.
Jack focuses on organizing the surface beneath his claw to darken as he renders the ball. Once he finishes it seems like it didn't work until the moment he shifts position and its perspective shifts with his movement revealing that it did indeed work remarkably well.
Beyond the bear is a blacksmith shoppe complete with a forge, an anvil, shelves of uber-black iron items and more.
Mr Magehammer gleams at the honorific and declares, "Well! At least someone knows how to show proper respect!" Under his breath Jack can hear with his Dragon hearing, "not like that obstinate Scord. His second verse and he just had to learn magic, wouldn't listen to my advice."
Magehammer holds his hammer above his head and Stella picks up on high levels of the same kind of magic Jack used to create the ball. He swings it around and a still image of a clock appears above his head. The panicking animals who were running back and forth crying, "DRAGON" all suddenly stop moving.
"Nice display of Order Magic back there with that drawing, by the way. Where'd you learn that? But first things first, let's go someplace more private, and fix this mess before the locals hire a Dragonslayer." He points his hands at the floating clock and moves the minute hand backward by 5 minutes. "That should do it. Come inside my forge." He walks over to his forge and dives in head first, squeezing to fit into the opening that is smaller than he was.
