Just back from vacation, saw Black Adam for my son's 10th bday (with his friends).  Loved it.

Rotten Tomatoes has reviewers giving it 41% and aufiences 89%.  Pretty interesting split there. (No spoilers here.) As a DC comic fan, I thought Black Adam and Dr Fate were amazing, Hawkman was ok, and the others all were good enough.

I'm glad it's not the Snyderverse, altho I enjoyed watching 4 hr 'Snyder Cut' of Justice League.  I'm one of those people that enjoyed both cuts, but seeing Snyder's cut explained some things that didn't make much sense.  (Personally I think Whedon saved that movie, but Hollywood has been saying bad stuff about Whedon lately so I'm hoping that's not true...)

Also saw the TJ Miller "Weasel" Deadpool controversy, and I'm glad he's off that show, but would love more Morena Baccarin in Deadpool (and hopefully with powers)!  Plus Deadpool will be joining MCU with High Jackman's Wolverine so that's exciting too.  Guessing we'll get all kinds of cameos and X-Men and so on, too.  Yay!

Last, saw Watchmen author Alan Moore dis all superhero movies and the HBO adaptation of Watchmen and say that superhero movies set societies up for fascist takeovers.
As a superhero genre fan, its hard for me to agree with his claim (for example The Boys and Invincible are great examples to the contrary), but I do think various other societal issues are deliberately trying to set USA up for fascism.  I don't want to get into politics, so I'll leave it at that.

Black Panther Wakanda Forever preview looked amazing, and She Hulk finale was good fun (also family enjoyed Ms Marvel series too).

I loved Ms Marvel, and She-Hulk.

I really liked the formulas that each broke from, to create their own feel.

I believe the mech is more a bender. And I was talking to the woman at the console who may or may not have set a self destruct as she pulled the pistol!

Self destruct!  That's a legit superhero villain move!

But as heroes, don't we have to save the pilots on the off-chance they are mind-controlled slaves of some super bad boss?

I'm kinda lost and unsure what to do here...

Saber, round up anyone close and move them away in case this thing blows up and I need a new character! And yes you know how super villains think, better to have a self destruct and not need it then to need it and not have one. And of course we will be doing our best to get everyone out, I just hope I’m being paranoid about it blowing up.

Hey Agent 9, Empress should be able to get both of us out of this mech if it crashes, but landing it is probably best.

Well it doesn’t seem Dr. Calypso is onboard the mech so he has to be somewhere. Just need to get the people on here off for interrogation

Want to say "on our team" but we haven't formally teamed up in-game yet, so ...

Don't we have a cyber-master person 'in our group'?  Could they take over the mech controls somehow?

Only a few more heroes have actions this round.  I'm holding for new Init, since I'm out of actions.  Empress will teleport out with pilots and anyone else that wants to 'abandon mech'?

Empress can teleport anyone in there, but she has no comms & she's out of the mech.  Come find her if you can't get in?

Saber won't fit inside, being roughly the size of a mini-van.

Other than drawing its fire, and repairing the damage its done, not sure what else Saber can do.  Like Jarvis told Iron Man in the first Avengers film, I'll lose power before I get through that hull.

Slightly Meta, but Empress is very easily bored and she might teleport back just bc the mech isn't shut down yet.

Yes, she would leave the mech pilots out cold and able to escape -- but that part is sort of in character.
