re: Kraken's tentacles -- do they come out of the guy?  Or do they materialize?
I'm unclear, but curious.

They extend and retract from the sides of his torso.

Awesome!  Are they fishlike, octopus/squid like, or some spirit / cyber / light type of thing?

Are you like Doc Ock, ie they can reach out and move stuff?  Or are yours just for attacks or shield or ?

Squidlike. yes they’re extra limbs that can attack etc.

So Empress didnt take any damage in previous exchange, but she did teleport a lot of times & a big mech too!

But figure non-combat time + a latte & croissant coffee break means shes back to 100% before the next thing?  @Adjudicator?

Seems like infiltration shouldnt be too hard for Agent 9, they seem like a superspy?  But maybe Agent 9 wants to rejoin us just before Empress teleports, ie after doing a quick recon?

Is Kraken strong enough to leap across on his own power?

Kraken's standing broad jump sends him 41" per phase and allows him to remain airborne for up to twelve phases. So, from a standing start Kraken can jump about half a mile, but he'll be airborne for three minutes. Short answer is yes, Kraken can do this easily.
As an aside, Still Standing could have leapt to the rooftop as well. The two buildings are sixty feet apart. A single phase leap would allow many characters to cross, for future reference:
