Will do. Makes me sad, I used to own the darn thing, but too many moves and too many years. Sigh. I  will miss drawing my character on the sheet!

For Powers you get to roll for 5 powers.  You have the option of dropping one power roll to be able to choose one power for a total of 4 powers.

When you roll, you roll 2d10 and you get to choose which die is the tens die.
Example:  you rolled a 2 and 6.  That means you can either have a 26 or a 62, you can decide which way to go after looking at the powers.

AFter you have gained 4 powers, you have the option to roll on the Weakness Table to gain more powers.  At most you can have 7 powers, but will have 2 weaknesses.

In the end you can either have:
4 powers: 3 rolled and one chosen
5 powers: all rolled
6 powers: 6 rolled with 1 weakness
7 powers: 7 rolled with 2 weaknesses

I am unsure about the weakness, I choose to skip rolling a weakness and only take 4 powers.

In the end you can either have:
4 powers: 3 rolled and one chosen
5 powers: all rolled
5 powers: 4 rolled and one chosen with 1 weakness
6 powers: 6 rolled with 1 weakness
7 powers: 5 rolled and one chosen with 2 weaknesses
7 powers: 7 rolled with 2 weaknesses

Here is the code for adding pictures. Best to adjust size before you load your picture into some website like imgur.  Take out spaces next to arrow signs.   Rules of RPoL say that pictures need to be hosted by some place like Imgur.

Awesome. Are you playing a robot? Years ago I had a robot character in a table-top version of this system, I called her Mustang Sally. She was built by Ford, and her motto was 'guaranteed not to rust, bust or collect dust!'.

Are we waiting for everyone to finish? How many is the anticipated total?

Yes, we are waiting for other players, not sure how many at this point.


Feel free to jump in on fighting off the Mole men, showing what Zenith can do.  You have free range to set up out whatever small encounter you want.  General theme is mole man are attacking the surface using tunnel machines and lots of cannon fodder. ;) Make sure to do it in front of other characters!  This is our spring board as to how the characters are first meeting.

nope, it is being held on OOC, unofficial fight. :) If you scroll up, you will find other posts dealing with molemen.  So far we are still feeling out our characters so posts are short. :)

Read back up the OOC a bit. Slight overlap in powers it seems, but nothing we can't work around. I rolled a number that would have given me weather control or size change. I went with size change. Only in one direction, up, but she gets pretty darn big.

Her background is that she is an intergalactic grappler whose ship broke down near Cleveland, and she is waiting for parts. She expects it to be a long wait.

She has a touch of cosmic awareness, so she has a lot of options for in combat taunts and boasts.

Oddly enough, for someone who is a fighter, a lot of her abilities are defensive, but I am hoping to perhaps work as someone the enemy focuses on, and misses a lot, allowing the others to attack.

She can attack to a certain degree, of course.

She is at her best when wearing her championship belt, but as it is rather gaudy she doesn't wear it all the time.

Are we working with City or private?

Do you want us in any particular region?  Like should our city be on the east coast?

Yes, on the East Coast would be fine. I was waiting for a consensus on whether you were a branch of the police department (Law Enforcement with Special Powers) or affiliated with something else or not.

So, we seem to be:
Kestrel: weather control with focus on air and wink
Archer: size control, scientist
Duelist: melee specialist, face person
Rock Star: light show and melee

Just recently, we all met when ...
Kestrel:
Hmm...maybe we can start with a throw-away villain to defeat as a good point for all of us to meet?
Example:
        The Mole Man and his troops invade the surface and we all end up working together to send him packing! ;)
Archer:
Lets first ask, if Moleman suddenly invaded the surface world with his troops, tunnelling a way up (ala Underminer in Incredibles), how would we each respond.

I'll start:   Archer would grown large, and attempt to pick up the tunnelling device, and shove it back down the hole, to block the way and inhibit the troops following it.
Duellist:
Duelist would have leaped in to confront the troops, keeping them occupied and distracted with jabs from her sword and dodging their blows.
Kestrel:
Kestrel would be hard to see as she turns to Air, being seen mostly as a shadow flying around the battlefield and using blasts of air against any moleman who had cover from the sky.  She would manipulate the weather so that a Lightning storm was happening over the location of the moleman tunnel, sending lightning down from the sky to strike any moleman who got past the mole machine.

Rock Star:
He probably was happy to help Archer with shoving the tunneling machine back into its hole. All the while with a brilliant flashy light show and some loud music, something like his own version of Cum on Feel the Noise. blasting the molemen

Archer:
Looking to Rock Star and Duellist to deal with this infestation,  Archer would offer her hand, as she began shrinking back down, to the flying Kestrel, “Can you get me there fast?”

As Kestrel (assumably) took Archer’s hand, Archer continued to shrink to a tiny ‘handful’ size … for easy transport.

As Kestrel came in close to the new threat, Archer called out, “Fast Ball me”.    Thrown at the machine, Archer again increased in size to ‘giant’ proportions … slamming shoulder first into the emerging metal beast.
Kestrel:
Kestrel was about to explain to Archer that she couldn't carry anyone while flying when the woman shrunk down to a tiny doll that fit in her hand.  Tilting her head sideways, she focused her wind power out through her hand to lift the woman into the air and float her as she turned back into air.  "okay, never done this before so lets see if this work!"  By some miracle she keeps Archer floating above her hand as she flew the woman toward the other mole machine, although it took lots of focus (power stunt, might not be able to do that ingame ;) ).

"Fast Ball special coming up," Kestrel acknowledged, her voice sounding very windy as she directed her wind power to send the tiny doll toward the mole machine, knowing the woman can grow to be a giant.  Hoping that Archer times things right as she then sends blasts of lightning out of the sky and into groups of mole men charging out from behind the machine as Archer slammed into in her giant form.
