Agent 9 mutters as he climb up another section of ladder toward the next hatch "Well now youre out of leg and this is getting old!" when he reaches the next hatch hw will do what he can to open that one up as well

Continuing efforts to open the hatch on the head, Rock Star serenades the hatch with the explosive intro to "Smells Like Teen Spirit".

Agent 9 discovered the hatch he found is sealed, and doesn't open from his side. Rock Star continues to worry the hatch in the mech's head. The mech continues to target buildings and ignore the heroes.

Grabbing a four-ton hunk of rubble, The Zenith attempts to hurl it at the giant robot, aiming for center mass to maximize her chance of connecting.

"Batman never missed his punches seventy-five percent of the damn time!" she said between gritted teeth, and feeling particularly un-heroic.

Sadly the rubble misses by a wide margin, and probably does significant damage to building M.

Saber-7 focused its efforts on shoring up building 'F'.

Agent 9 braces himself at the top of the thigh on the top of the ladder and looks over the hatch for a moment to determine which way it opens before taking a hold of it with both hands and straining against it to see if it is up to a match against his strength

The mech blasts building D second time, causing more damage. It sends another missile into building R, which begins to shake itself apart just as the other did. Rock Star finally causes some damage to the hatch on the head, but not enough to get it open.

Frustrated, the Zenith grabs another hunk of rubble and tried again, coming closer, but still missing. She lets out a cry of rage.

OOC Are the mech's missile launchers and or racks covered or protected?

The Zenith slams the mech with a large chunk of concrete, which glances off the mech and does no damage.

"Snaaaaaap," Saber-7 said, banking and sending up a jetwash of litter and debris.  Reversing direction, it skated towards building 'R' at top speed.

"At this rate Imma run outta nanites," it commented.  And tried to shore up the building before it fell.

06:42, Today: Saber 7 rolled 15 using 2d8+3.  Nanoscarab repair stream.

With the hatch open Agent 9 takes out the flash light again and a pistol in the other hand and looks up inside before standing up into the hatchway to see what lays beyond.
"Ive gotten access to the , um..torso I think.Proceeding inside." he says quietly over the radio.

Rock Star continues to stream sound at the hatch, occasional ringing some resonance out of the mech's head.

Although the odds seem slim that she will ever connect, The Zenith has no wish the damage Agent 9 as he moves inside the robot, so she will simply use her force fields to try and minimize the damage of the mechanical monstrosities blows.

Rock Star continues to batter at the head hatch, ineffectually.

The Zenith prepares to interpose force fields between the mech and its targets. A number of police officers waste more ammunition firing at the mech. The mech shoots both laser and some sort of sonics at building M. The sonics are stopped by The Zenith's force field, the laser does minimal damage. Rock Star continues to batter at the head hatch, ineffectually.

OOC: Ajudicator, for the NPC mech, rolled 6,8,6,3 using 1d20,1d20,1d20,2d8.  attack, attack, sonic dmg, laser dmg.
The Zenith's force field costs three points of power.

Agent 9 clubs the man at the console with the butt of his pistol, trying to knock him out not break his skull.

yielding 19 or less to hit. Rolling 1d20-19 means any positive number is a miss.

Damage is
• basic HTH damage 2d8
• added for makeshift club (pistol) +1d2
• and damage modifier +5

yielding 2d8+1d2+5 as the damage roll. As this is intended to cause unconsciousness, the special attack will give a 4% times the damage done chance of knocking out the target. The damage will not be multiplied by four before being applied to hit points.

OOC That is complicated! I don’t recall it being that involved from way back.

Agent 9 pulls the unconscious man from the seat and muses for a half second that next time he will need to bring zip ties just in case. Then he opens the radio link “ anyone available to take custody of a bad guy? “ while he searches the controls the man was as to see what it does and how he might cause it trouble.

"I can," Saber-7 replied to Agent-9.  "I'm skating by its feet right now.  Any luck? Cuz that ugly is doing major damage."

OOC: Saber-7 will use its action to retrieve/catch/save whatever garbage Agent-9 throws out of the hatch!

Agent 9 will toss the bad guy down to Saber and reply “ got a control panel here right now going to see if I can slow this thing down a bit, if not I’ll smash it and move up further “ he returns to the console to see if he can do a shut down or have this behemoth sit on its butt in the road or something.

As the unconscious baddy bounces out the shaft at the ankle, Saber 7 gathers him up. Skating at several hundred miles per hour, delivering the baddy to the authorities beyond the barrier will be accomplished shortly. The Zenith maintains a force field in front of the mech's 'face' to thwart further use of that weaponry.
