Hoping to be a distraction, The Zenith will continue to battle from the outside.

Rock Star sends another laser blast at the mech, flying above the gas in the streets. As Zenith and Rock Star pelt it from outside, Saber 7 assists Agent 9 in entering the thing.

Agent 9 has a 36

13:05, Today: Saber 7 rolled 27 using 1d10+19.  Inish.

Agent 9 has no trouble getting to the hatch in the ankle, the mech is ignoring almost everything but the buildings. Rock Star mentions something like 'I got it' (paraphrasing, I'm sure the actual dialog was something flamboyantly loud and over the top) as he flys towards the head.
The mech moves to the next building and starts tearing it up.

Saber-7 skated on hover-jets and kept pace with the monster's ankle, aiming at the door that Agent 9 was trying to get in.

"Look out, fire in the hole," it said.  And its gauss cannon fired at the door, being careful not to catch the insanely-bold G-Man in the wash...

Debating her options, The Zenith attempted to maybe throw the mechanism off balance by casting a force field in front of it's fist, stopping it's hand from connecting with the building. She hopes.

"I sure hope everyone has evacuated this one," she said, half expecting to see an intrepid reports face peering in terror out of one of the windows.

Agent 9 glances back at Saber and lets him try shooting the hatch open but if that doesnt work he will grab ahold of it and try prying it open with his bare hands for the moment

The lights don't diminish as Rock Star flies towards the giant robot's head. If anything, the intensity increases as bright white and gold flashes strobe around the flying star. Suddenly, the air is split by the sounds of driving guitar riffs and crashing drums as he approaches the hatch, seemingly singing,
"It's criminal
There ought to be a law
Criminal
There ought to be a whole lot more
If you want blood, you got it
If you want blood, you got it"
But, this is only that sound bleeding from the edges of the powerful sonic beam aimed at the hatch. Unfortunately, the aim isn't quite right and the beam bounces off. The only damage done is cosmetic.

Saber 7 shoots a hole in the ankle hatch. The Zenith stops the mech from half of the damage it was going to do to the building (blocks one fist). Agent 9 reaches through the hatch and opens it. Several police officers ineffectually fire their revolvers at the mech. Rock Star tries to shatter the head hatch and fails.

The Zenith spends nine more Power to block the mech's punch with the force field.

As Agent-9 entered the hatch, Saber-7 paused and canted its head regarding the ankle.

"Nope, not going to fit in there," it concluded. It seemed to ponder for a moment before firing its jets and skating back away from the ankle.

"Guys, I got us a door," it said, pointing to the open hatch on the ankle. "Agent 9's inside."

That done, it looked for any way to help with the property damage.  If it could move cars out of the way, it would do that.

Did the mech go on 13? I didn't see it.

Opting to try and take out be robots mobility, Zenith attempts a chop block, driving her shoulder into the side of it's metallic knee, the one Agent 9 is NOT trying to get into.

Well screw, I was going to ask about possible bonuses for attacking it from the side, but that roll is so bad I probably hurt myself
09:50, Today: The Zenith rolled 18 using 1d20 ((18)).

The huge mech launches a small missile from one finger on its left hand. The missile enters building 'F', and disperses something. Building 'F' begins to shake itself apart.

Agent 9 crawls into the open hatch and takes a pistol in one hand and a flash light in the other and looks quickly around the area he is now in

Landing atop the huge mech, Rock Star continues to serenade the hatch found there, doing more damage even though the sympathetic vibrations haven't shattered it, yet.

While the huge mech launches a building destroying missile, Saber 7 and The Zenith attempt to stop further property damage to no avail. Agent 9 enters the ankle hatch. More of the surrounding personnel assuage the machine with ineffective small arms fire. Rock Star has another go at a hatch on the mech's head.

Bummer.

No clue what kind of between round actions or expenditures I can make.

Sad to think that the odds are I will go the entire combat and never be able to hit this massive target.

Agent 9 has a 43 initiative

He will look around withing the ankle and if there is no delicate machinery to smash or way to climb up he will climb up onto the hatch and try to climb the outside of the mechanical monstrosity

07:29, Yesterday: Saber 7 rolled 29 using 1d10+19.  Inish.

Agent 9 finds nothing breakable on the other side of the hatch.

Agent 9 puts his gun in its holster and his flashlight into him mouth so it shines where he looks before climbing as quickly as he dares to the next hatch and seeing if he can manage to open it.

"Oh no," Saber-7 said when it saw building 'F' beginning to shake itself apart.  Skating towards the building, kicking up a wash of dust and debris, it extended robotic arm towards the building.

"Got to try," it said.  And with that, it unleashed a grey stream of small particles, almost like gnats, towards the building.

21:34, Today: Saber 7 rolled 14 using 2d8+3.  Nanoscarab repair stream. 14 HP of damage repaired on the building.

Assuming he can open the upper hatch, Agent 9 will shine his light up into the "thigh" of the mechanical terror and see if he can proceed any further or if there does appear to be something he can portraiture violence against that might slow down the rampage.

Repeating the current map:


Building F doesn't fall apart, although there are now many cracks on its facade. Agent 9 discovers another sealed hatch. The head of the mech turns to the side and and a heavy laser blasts into building R, causing chunks of debris to fall to the street.
