Re: Times Square, New York City

Empress watches Agent 9 go through the hatch.  Clearly he is capable, but it's always good to have backup, and if a bomb might go off, teleporting backup could be the best (or forcefield, which she doesn't do).

She goes upstairs to assist Agent 9.

Not describing a complete action; more of in between turns & waiting for Agent 9 to go first, and Empress is planning to be there with him -- to take care of business.

Re: Times Square, New York City

The two big screens are external views from the robot's sensors. The biggest screen shows the mechs front facing, the other screen shows the left and right facing, each on its respective side.
The gentleman from the center console pulls his pistol, apparently willing to engage the heroes.
Archer decides the controls at console 'f' are probably flight controls, and that's why the man at those controls hasn't engaged the heroes.
Empress gets the woman at the other console to admit, "as long as I keep moving these till we have a full shutdown, it won't blow up and kill us all."

Moving towards 'Console F', Archer called, "Get this fool out of my way".

Not intended as a full action; but as a quick statement that will hopefully allow Agent 9 and others present to clear obstacles between Archer and the Console

Empress says, "By all means, then, please continue the movement, my dear."

Empress watches her to see how hard the activity is to continue, curious if she can ask more about what steps are required to deactivate -- or if that could be too demanding...?

Meanwhile, her senses are active and she is looking around threats.

Empress watches the useless movements until she can emulate them (just in case). Empress also positions herself between her operator and the gunman.

"Empress won't let that gunman shoot you, don't you worry.
Now tell Empress which control panel will disable this robot, won't you?
You wouldn't want Empress to get blown up if this robot self-destructs, right my sweet?"

Empress looks closely to the operator for her indication of which desk to disable.

Re: Times Square, New York City

As Agent 9's shield attempts to squirm away, another quick karate chop renders the man unconscious. The technician Agent 9 holds mumbles, almost as if chanting a mantra, "our cooperation is necessary though we are entirely unimportant". The other armed technician (from console d) fires their pistol at Agent 9, the lucky shot bounces off the armor worn by the target. Archer figures out that NONE of these consoles can shut down the robot, those controls must be elsewhere. What IS available would be:

cCommand Station, coordinates the actions of the other operators
dA sort of deadman's switch, as long as the woman here continues inputs, no self-destruct
eHandles communications to some other installation
fFlight controller, the pilot keeps the robot upright and away from crashing

Empress calls out to Archer & Agent 9, "This operator can keep wiggle-waggling these controls to prevent one self-destruct, but there could be more self-destruct triggers.

If we can't shut this big boy down, we should destroy it -- or send it far away before it blows up.

Oh, I'm Empress by the way -- if you didn't recognize me?  So are you heroes too?"

"Again, none of these controls can shut down this mech", Archer notifies the team.
She threw her arms up in the air.

Nothing in the last room of consoles, nothing in this room of consoles.  What were all these fucking consoles for, if not even one controlled the mech.
She supposed that there was nothing to do but move into yet another room, and find that the consoles there were useless also.

Nevertheless she looked around for the next door to the next room of useless consoles.

Empress didn't look excited to teleport a giant mech, but her face rarely looked excited.  Could Empress be bored in the middle of this chaos?!?

"And that will be faster than figuring out how to shut this MegaZord down -- feels like this is taking months!"

Agent 9 drops the now unconscious tech and advances to the person with the gun. Deflecting it to the ceiling and punching the person in another attempt to knock them out. “ if you can teleport this huge thing out of the ocean then do it! We will just run for it after we get it out of the city, ok?” He yells excitedly at his two comrades.

Empress looks annoyed, sighs. "Or I can teleport the mech first and then we evacuate. That seems harder, but fine..."

напыщенный человек не мой босс!"

A shimmering doorway appears and she walks towards it. "Anyone wants to leave with me, come now -- except for you dear, keep doing that and I'll be back for you soon enough."
Empress will grab anyone that wishes to go thru the portal & off to where she dropped the other pilots. Except the operator at the 'deadmans switch'.

"If either of you wants to guard or interrogate these operators, it may be worth leaving too?"

After everyone who wants to steps through the portal, Empress does as well & the portal will wink out. "Dosvidanya."

INIT 7
This will be her action: opening teleport portal and sending anyone who wants to go thru it.

Re: Times Square, New York City

The operator resists being pushed through the portal, but Agent 9 is too strong. Agent 9 attempts to follow the observed pattern on the 'deadman's console', but at the second slide he attempted to move discovered that it was more complex than appeared. The slide wouldn't move and the console buzzed. This was the moment when to original operator of the console leaps back through the portal with a look of desperation on her face. Shoving past Agent 9, she puts her hand on a slide that hadn't been used, yet, and hesitates for a moment before sliding it to the end. The console stopped buzzing and the operator continues to manipulate the slides. "I've got an implant, the specific movements are radioed to me. LEAVE ME BE!"

Re: Times Square, New York City

Most of the technicians have been removed from their stations. The technician at the self-destruct console, so called because the mech will self-destruct if this console isn't manned, remains.
Unfortunately, one of the other consoles was probably called the flight control console. This can be presumed by the mech's sudden tendency to list to the right.
