Basically, you have 8 Primary Characteristics:

Allocate the following values where you like among them:

A handful of secondary characteristics are extracted from the values you allocate. As character creation systems go it's fairly simple. I joined a RuneQuest game here a couple of months back (for nostalgia's sake) and man that has become a hugely top-heavy system!

2d6+6 for Education, Intelligence, and Size
3d6 for  Luck, Power, Appearance, Dexterity, Constitution, and Strength

multiply by 5, everything is percentile now, basically

The GM seems to be running something different from what you posted, has us rolling dice for all stats.

And true to form, the dice roller hates me.

The dice roller can be annoying. Have some decent ones but also a couple of not so decent ones.

I, too, am learning the system.
