al-Jameel Family
Yasmin's family-- a family of six hungry ghuls, counting her-- Yasmin's parents, her big sister Faizah, her little sister Huma, and her older brother Ragheb.
Ragheb -- Works in a funeral parlor, and can often "borrow" a few spare body parts from the deceased before cremation. He's meek, mild, and quiet, which makes the fact that he's heavily profiled by the authorities as a potential terrorist frustrating for him.
Faizah -- Aggressive, outgoing, and protective of her siblings. Her willpower and intellect are formidible, and she's used that strength to secure a position as a coroner, which she used to both gather meat from the source and cause spare bodies to be sent to the crematorium Ragheb works at. She's considered a cold, unflinching terror at her job, a reputation she encourages.
Huma -- A cute little girl who loves cute things and has terrifyingly huge claws. She often turns up to spend time with one or the other of her older sisters unexpectedly.
Mr. al-Jameel -- Works as an accountant for a local construction company. He stays famously late at night, and once in a while, manages to find a body to bring home, but it's hardly a regular thing. Like Ragheb, he's meek and mild unless his wife orders him to take action.
Mrs. al-Jameel -- A delightful hostess and a devoted housewife, sweet, kind, and hospitable. Until something crosses her sense of honor or duty, in which case one is abruptly reminded that she is, in fact, the demon queen of the ghuls, and in command of a matriarchal society in which position is based upon strength and will.
