Re: OOC

By default I only get one blast till level 7, yep. I could have taken the physical version but I prefer targeting touch ACs, thank you very much. As for why I took water specifically; its for the Poison Admixture infusion so I can put poisons into my blast. The pew-pew is in the service of delivering my venom. One day it'll happen :P

Honestly, feel free to cast the grease with Fandor in the area. He has the reflex and acrobatics for it.

Re: OOC

Positive blast -only- damages undead which is much more restrictive than pretty much any other blast. So no real option for energy blasts until level 7 in wood; also, Uluchi is a snake and I felt that water was more snakey than wood or void which were the elements I was considering as thematic. Water gets to do all sorts of swanky stuff, just gotta get there.

As far as tripping Fandor goes; meh, its a 25% that it affects the lord at all, i'd rather not complicate things for the melee lads for such low odds (I play a fair amount of XCOM, anything lower than an 80 is viewed with deep suspicion, gotta assume it'll fail every time). I should have used my last few hundred gold buying random alchemical weapons, which I usually do with my characters, just skipped it this level.

Re: OOC

Fair, XCOM does that to a person. And I (even having suggested bone burn which would be perfect for this fight) also skipped buying alchemical weapons. Level 1 scrolls were tastier (and misremembered a couple of things which made them rather useless).

Speaking of Snakes, at 6th level Tal gets his wild shape finally and it should function as a level 8 druid (aka Beast Shape III) for reptiles and dinos. I hear Emperor Cobra has a nice poison.

Btw, why not go all-in with poisons with a class like Alchemist? Their discoveries go a long way to make the poisons somewhat viable. Or are you aiming for more of a "magic poison" angle?

Re: OOC

I checked my Kingmaker game, and while I still insist that Kineticist is the best class in that game, it's indeed like Sesa said. You make painful choices. :P

Uluchi Sesa? Please check with Gorum freezing options, unlike computer game where some things are not meant to be, on PBP or TBP, we have much more versatility. I think you could try freezing Knight's armor, for example. Or that nasty glaive he have in his hands.

Normally I would be all "Nooo, Our loot!" but thanks to the specifics of this Campaign we can stop worrying about wealth and chimpunking everything as if winter was coming. :)

Taliesin, Alchemists are mite too scientific I believe.
I am also under impression that Sesa wanted a poisoner witch archetype. Kinecist can fit, with a bit of cosmetic paraphernalia.

Plus appropriate misspelling when talking about her stuff with Veana. Who, as Paladin, have RESTRICTIONS.

Instead of "P" word use "excessive medication". ;)

EDIT: Gorum, so Pathfinder Paladins aren't auto-immune to Fear effects? And since Lord Olinescu blew us up ... I think Puck should have 10 HP left, not 23.

Re: OOC

If you're talking about a ranged sunder thing, that's generally not possible.  I will say that grease has uses aside from causing slippery ground, however.

Agreed, grease pairs up wonderfully with cantrip called Spark. And anything else that have "ignites flammable" rule.

Re: OOC

@Puck: Antipaladins can strip away fear immunity with their aura. Also, pretty sure ice/water-based grease will not be flammable. (Even regular grease spell being flammable is debatable)

Sorry I haven’t been able to post. I’ll try to do so in a bit when I get home. I think Veana still gets a turn after GK.

Re: OOC

Sorry, I posted that turn in a bit of a hurry. The damage is fixed now,and the description for shaken is fixed (it doesn't decrease damage.)

Veana's immunity to fear was negated by the grace knight's aura of cowardice, though yes everyone still gets a turn.

Grease isn't technically flammable, that's just a common house rule.

That means you can add +2 to Patagogi's damage then for I took it off.

Hear, hear! :D

Awesome work, Sesa! I bet that if Lord Olinescu was alive he would have an aunerysm right now out of sheer anger.

Fun thing? Within Ash Storm, where we can see freely, Lord Olinescu needs Search Check to find and pick up his scimitar. At best, if he doesn't fumble the search, whole round wasted.

Also, who wishes for our team to finish the adventure ... because I'm baselessly optimistic here, with setting the Manor of Olinescu family on fire?

Wait, did you just cited me an Imperius defense? (:O

You did. So... we can't set their manor on fire, but giving our buddy-cleric a target for his crusade-boner is another matter, no? They worship competition after all, unlike sensible people who make pacts with spirits. ;)

Taliesin might, but Sesa have bad luck with her major dmg source being blocked by Graveknight's icy indifference.
