Party headquarters (IC side content)

Every organization needs a place to meet, and after their victory against the "Forest Guardians," the Church of Erastil rewarded the party with their own clubhouse: a small building on the edge of Caliphas that the church no longer had a use for.  Here they could hang trophies, meet prospective clients, and pay respect for their fallen allies.

With their new party headquarters came a question: What to write on the sign?  Any adventuring party worth their salt had a name, and with two major battles under their belt, the group was beginning to gather a bit of a reputation.  If their rep was going to spread further, they would need something for the adoring masses to call them, beyond "that adventuring party."

OOC: This is intended as a thread for any in-character business people might want to get up to outside of the normal battles, such as keeping track of battle-trophies or giving the party a name.

Party headquarters (IC side content)

The Wall of Heroes:

In one corner of the party headquarters sat a small poster-board for members of the party to post important information: Contacts, payment records, and public records of their mighty deeds.  At the very bottom of the board, a space had been set aside to pay respects to party members who were no longer with them.  At present, the only warrior to have died in battle was the mighty Koji D'agh, but everybody knew it was just a matter of time before more names joined her on the list of the honoured dead.

Current Members:

Patagogi, the indefatigable Half-orc Bloodrager
Taliesin, Human Druid and expert summoner.

Former members:

Koyrai Dellex, the versatile Samsaran Arcanist. Retired after 4 battles.
Puck, the stealthy Elven hunter. Retired after 4 battles.
Uluchi Sesa, Vishkanya Kineticist, master of water and poison. Retired after 4 battles.
Veana, the indomitable Paladin of Falayna. Retired after 4 battles.
Sandydale, Half-elf life oracle: retired after 1 battle.
Arashi, Kitsune life Oracle: retired after 1 battle.
Koji D'agh, Durable Half-orc Bloodrager: Fell in her second battle, coup de graced by a phase spider.

Former Jobs:

SAVAGE MARAUDERS SLAIN:  Deep in the hungry mountains, a group of vicious kobold raiders struck fear into the hearts of the trapping community by ambushing and murdering several hunters and trappers.  Though more brave and deadly than most of their despicable kin, the marauders were eventually brought to justice by a newly formed adventuring group hired out of Caliphas.  These brave warriors were able to slay every one of the beasts without any casualties, aside from some easily treatable blindness.

ESTIG'S POINT, RECLAIMED:  The Erastilite shrine of Estig's Point served as a vital resting place for travellers through the dangerous Shudderwoods, before being leveled by a trio of savage beasts: a satyr, a manticore, and a phase spider.  However, the church of Erastil has declared the shrine will be rebuilt now that these "forest defenders" have been slain by a band of brave adventurers hired out of Caliphas.  Though the bloodrager Koji D'agh was treacherously murdered by the foul creatures, all three of the monsters were eventually brought to justice.

With reverence Puck put a small Fencer's Hat in front of the painting, or more stick figures made by someone barely coherent in painting arts, depicting the exploits of their warband against the kobold raiders.

After returning from their next adventure, Puck put an unassuming wooden Pan's pipes, musical instrument often used by Fey in front of a stick picture about the party's exploits against the manticore, satyr and very big spider.

OOC: Puck stick-figure painted Phase Spider to be twice the size of Manticore. ;)

With a reverent nod, Puck placed a crudely made blowing horn in front of the third finger-painted mural of the third exploit that party had. Against a small army of knights.

OOC: Puck's finger-painting of Lord Olinescu have him be minotaur sized, breathe fire and have bull-like horns. And a "whole sea" of the knights charging the heroically posed party. Like triple the actual numbers. :P
