The early history of the Company is relatively straight forward,up until January 2004 (The start of the Rodian War).

Until that point the version on True Earth can be considered the progenitor Company, with any variants elsewhere, just reflections of the progenitor. The degree to which the reflection relates to the original depends on how closely the version of Shadow Earth relates to True Earth, which is predominately determined by its proximity in shadow.

After the start of the Rodian War then the two versions of the Company diversify, at least until May 2007, when Cordelia explicitly takes control of the version on what becomes 'Mizzurian Earth'.

I'm therefore going to have to create separate sub-entries for each version, much in the same way as I'm doing for the Mansion, Carnelian (although this has been little explored to date), and Elysium. In the same way as is being done for the Mansion, I'll expand things when you discover things.

Mizzurian -- True Earth

The Rodian War - first days
On January 3rd 2004 Miss Cordelia Chan (Exec VP) issued a "Secure, Sustain, Survive" directive, ordering the immediate securing of the entire Gold Point Office Park estate, the conversion of all offices to house both refugees and all Mizzurian Games employees and families. All employees and their families ordered to immediately gather all non-perishable supplies, guns, ammunition, and fuel, and move into the accommodation being created at the park.
All windows on all office blocks are to be boarded to withstand hurricane force winds and all air intakes shrouded and fitted with 4 stage particle filters, capable of filtering atmospheric intake to particles equivalent to air bourne flour. All outtake vent should be shrouded and 2 fitted with 2 stage filters to prevent ingress of particles down to sawdust equivalent.
All Purple Dragon employees, including all Security Personnel working for their security division, are also ordered to evacuate to the site.

At 10:00am on January 5th the US president in an emergency broadcast confirms that the Yellowstone volcano entered an active state at 05:36 that morning. He declares a National state of Emergency and a full activation of all National Guard Units. A phased evacuation of states most likely to be affected by an Eruption would begin at 06:00 the following morning.

At 13:37 the Cascadia Fault slips by 52cm triggering both a tsunami which inundates the entire Pacific coast within 15 to 35 minutes, and major earthquakes in all of the Californian fault lines. All quakes are magnitude 8.5 or greater. The combination of Earthquake and Tsunami destroys large parts of San Francisco, most of Oakland, most of San Jose, large parts of Western and South-western Sacramento, and most of the cities in the valley south of Sacramento all the way down to and including Fresno.
Over the next 24 hours the whole of the "Ring of Fire" lights up with eruptions from most if not all of the volcanos no matter how long they've been dormant. Major earthquakes follow in a number of regions and areas.

At 06:13 on the 6th Cordelia and "forces unknown" take control of Cyberworks in Roanoke, Virginia. At 07:17 Cumbre Vieja explodes. The Tsunami reaches the east coast of the US at 13:17.

In Sacramento, in the immediate aftermath of the earthquakes and Tsunami's Mizzurian personnel with the assistance of third parties take control of the Nimbus dam and Hydro-Electric stations.

The first demon attacks are recorded during the afternoon of the 6th in Sacramento adding to the general level of chaos.

The first 'caldera' forming eruption from Yellowstone happens at 02:12 on the 8th January. The full caldera explosive eruption commences at 23:43 on the 9th. It takes 13 hours for the ash cloud to reach Sacramento.

Records indicate that Miss Chan's last interaction with the facilities at the Gold River Compound is on January 17th.

The Rodian War - As it Progressed
The remainder of January and the early part of February proved to be a considerable challenge, and not just because of the 20ft rise in sea level nor the continuing ash fallout and its now dominant effect of blocking 95% of sunlight and all moonlight, plunging the city into almost perpetual night.
The fine ash in the air, meant that face masks and/or breathing apparatus when outside were a necessity, but it's ever presence served to rapidly decrease the necessity to deal with attacks by looters and mobs, as they were forced to abandon attempts to gain access to the compound which slowly increased its fortification, although maintaining a kill zone along the Folsom highway was an ever present issue.
The presence of demons appeared to decrease after Cordelia left although there presence and the occasional attack still occurred into mid February.
The supply situation improved a little in the early part of February when allies from the Mocking Bird club, retrieved a couple of functional cruisers of decent size and one of the Golden Gate Ferries from San Francisco Bay. This made it significantly easier to retrieve supplies from the debris fields and the now submerged towns around the bay.
With improved supplies and a substantial decrease in demon activity, it was possible to couple the hydro plant directly to the complex of offices, significantly improving the available power, and improving both the lighting and air conditioning. It also allowed the installation of flood lights around the perimeter of the complex.

By late March, with both the complete cessation of demon activity, and the cessation of falling ash as the Yellowstone Eruption ceased - although it would June before there was any sort of gradual reduction in the ash levels in the lower atmosphere, and January of 2005 before sporadic ash showers ceased - operations moved more into supply gathering and rescuing those who'd managed to survive to date, turning the private apartment complexes to the Northwest of the park into a sort of refugee enclave. With the future still very much unknown, especially how long the solar blackout would last, rationing of supplies became the norm, and plans were drawn up for the construction of artificially lit thermally insulated glass houses and hydroponics facilities.

The Great Lakes annual winter freeze doesn't cease as is normal in late January/Early February but continues into March and April. Lake Superior and Lake Huron freeze completely. Lake Michigan hits 85% frozen, all bar a small portion of the central southern section freezes.Lake Erie hits 60% frozen, and Lake Ontario 70% frozen (liquid section tends to be the centre of the Lakes on the Southern side. Lakes tend to freeze from the shore line to the middle). Volume of water over the Niagara Falls reduces to 20% of normal. Lakes will not begin to thaw until the summer of 2006.

The Rodian War - Aftermath
The return of Miss Chan in mid-June, bought with it both relief at her re-appearance, and consternation. She had a major agenda to enact, one which would require an immediate up-tick in salvage and recovery activities, and in recovery of survivors, particularly those with the skills and experience on her list.
Of initial primary importance were those with extensive Police, preferable SWAT, and military experience, both Army or Marine, and those with heavy transport expertise. Next were those with city/town planning and architectural design experience both residential, commercial, and industrial. Those with the ability to marry oriental and western design styles were particularly desirable. Next on the list were those with construction, including civil engineering, experience. For those with residential construction skills the ability to handle oriental style buildings were particularly desirable. The last skill group were those with transport skills, both in driving big wheelers, other HGVs, and heavy recovery vehicles, but also those capable of maintaining them.
Her immediate requirements were for a team of 20 security personnel, who would be on long term detachment elsewhere, so individuals with no family dependants or attachment were preferable.
She would only be available in Sacramento 4 days a week.
As plans were put in place to enact and fulfil the agenda it became more and more obvious that the current facilities wouldn't likely support the scale of operations needed going forward, especially if they got through the current phase, and there was then an increase in survivors looking to move to the city. This resulted in additional scope being added, to design and construct a purpose built compound, which significantly evolved in scale over a number of iterations, especially after a Marine colonel and his family were rescued in late September, although actual work on the new compound would actually start until July 2006.

2004 - The Remaining Months

2005
The first noticeable improvement in climatic conditions doesn't occur until late May and then steadily improves over the course of the remainder of the year.

2006
Climatic conditions return to near normal (perhaps a degree or two down on normal. The Global warming clock has effectively been reset by about 30 years).
July - Work begins on the construction of the new secure compound, based around the Aerojet Rocketdyne industrial park (approx 1.7km x 1km ).

2007
July 2007 - Mizzurian takes delivery of 4 Sirkorsky MH53-E helicopters and 8 Bell AH-1Z vipers. 3 MH53-E and 6 AH-1Z are deployed to the Sacramento compound, whilst the remainder along with 30 security staff are deployed to the Cyberworks facility in Roanoke, Virginia.

2008
May - Mizzurian Security Services deploys the MZNSS-Sulaco to Pueblo Bay, California. Its standard compliment of 3 Sirkorsky MH53-E helicopters, 8 Bell AH-1Z vipers and 8 Eurocopter AS532 Cougar significantly enhances Mizzurian's ability to provide Security, Search and Rescue, and Transport Capability to the City Government.

2009
Mizzurian formally establishes the Nisenan Valley Republic (formerly Northern California, North of Fresno to the Rogue River and recognises the Paiute Republic (Tahoe Forest and Pyramid Lake) and Walker River Republic


2010
April - Mizzurian Security Services signs a memorandum of understanding with the US Army Marine Corps.
September - Mizzurian Security Services signs a Service Support contract with the US Army Marine Corps for the re-opening of the Peoria Military Airport and US Army marine base with a view to re-establishing operating capability along the length of the Great Lakes to Mississippi Canal


December - Mizzurian Security services temporarily deploys the Sulaco to the Lake Michigan

2011
January - Mizzurian Security Services in a joint operation with US Army Marine Corp engineers restores operational capability to the Peoria Airbase.
          As part of the support contract Mizzurian Security Services deploys 1 Sirkorsky MH53-E, 2 AS532 Cougar, and 4 Bell AH-1Z.

          The Sulaco returns to Pueblo Bay following its 2 week absence.
March  - A Mizzurian Security Services team operating from the Peoria Airbase secures the KLS facility in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
         The facility has suffered extensive damage having been buried under 90mm (3.5") of volcanic ash from the Yellowstone eruption.
         Note 10-20mm of volcanic ash will cause most non-reinforced buildings to collapse.

Mizzurian -- Mizzurian Earth

2005
In June 2005 The Mizzurian Corporation (PLC) is registered in London, England. At the same time 3 subsidiaries are created Mizzurian (Europe) PLC (Registered in the Netherlands), Mizzurian (Asia) (registered in Nagoya, Japan), and Mizzurian (Global)(Registered in Gaborone, Botswana)

In July 2005 Mizzurian (Asia) creates Mizzurian Advanced Integrated Processors Ltd and Mizzurian Electronics Ltd as wholly owned subsidiaries.
In July 2005 Mizzurian (Global) creates Mizzurian Cyberware Ltd, Mizzurian Sapient Sciences Ltd, Mizzurian Software Services Ltd, and Mizzurian Real Estate Services as wholly owned subsidiaries.

In September 2005 Mizzurian Software Services lets a contract for the construction of a new server farm to Mizzurian Real Estate Services. The server farm when complete will cover an area equivalent to 24 football pitches. Phase 1 of the build becomes operational at the end of March 2007. Phases 2 through 5 become operational in October 2009, October 2010, October 2011, and October 2012.

In May 2007 Cordelia buys out the majority of share held by the other original directors gaining a 67% holding in the Company.

Mizzurian -- Modern Carnelian
Location
The centre of town is dominated by the Mizzurian "Block", Office, Manufacturing facility, and warehouses. The Mizzurian "block" is a full 1km x 1km block divided into 4 500m x 500m sub-blocks. Coming from the mansion, along the main road, the 3 story manufacturing facility is the first dominant structure encountered. On first perception the building looks to be surrounded by a 10ft high Bamboo slatted fence sitting atop a stone wall made from flat rocks. The building itself is a mix of what appears to be steel and white concrete with almost no visible windows. However most of the building is actually hidden by a "living wall of plants". The surrounding fence and wall on closer inspection are revealed to be some sort of concrete wall about 3ft of similar construction to that separating the traffic lanes, on top of which appears to be some form of slatted metal fence, all of which are painted to give the illusion of the bamboo fence on top of the stone wall from more than about 1 meter away. The outer fence is separated from the actual building by a 10m gap, all of which is planted with a wild flower meadow and a variety of fruit and utility trees spaced about 10m apart.

The roadway between the manufacturing building and the next building is set up as a high security entrance with full width half circle rising barriers 3ft high to bar traffic in the appropriate direction. Smaller high security entrances on either side of the road way appear to be for bicycles and pedestrians. The building to the LHS, inside the security perimeter looks to be a security office. The visible guard appears to be armed, and CCTV cameras are in obvious evidence covering the roadway entrances.

The next block, which appears to be the main Mizzurian office, isn't surrounded by the fence and wall for the most part, only the 20m section closest to the roadways between it and the Manufacturing building is.

The main office building is the highest building in town at 5 storeys, and whilst it occupies almost the full width of the plot it only occupies about 1/5 of the depth. It is a glass and steel building and again incorporates, a significant amount of "living" wall. The 10m area between the front of the building and the foot path is again planted as a wild flower meadow with the same variety of fruit and utility trees on the same spacing.
The rear of the plot is currently unoccupied, as is the SW quadrant. The eastern side of the NW Quadrant is occupied by a row of warehouses, with the perimeter fence and security on the roadway entrance. A temporary steel section fence runs along the rear of the warehouses, with a row of concrete blocks on the warehouse side. A similar fence runs along the roadway to the southern road and then to the rear of the office block. The remained of the NW quadrant appears to be a store of tree trunks, obviously felled as part of the town layout construction.
