Cathal O'Donoghue:
[OOC the it is a virtual meeting, some thing are better written down.]
"Yes start with the boarding of the Mini-buss. We drove off and we all felt the power of the pattern. 2 hours later we were in Las Vegas. The distance between the Center and Las Vegas is far longer than this time span."
Edward Pinmillion:
"Actually it was about an hour. She used the same trick at least twice later, once to get us from Las Vegas to Washington in a few hours, and then from where ever we picked the Caiman up from to Big Creek, then again to get us to the petrol station, as a confused Kenneth pointed out. Did she also use the same trick to get us to where ever we ended up in South America, that I can't answer."
"Once we got to Las Vegas, she did a couple of other things which I don't think are related in any way to the Pattern, first she took on Rhainnon's form, a neat trick if you ask me, means I'm going to have to think about putting some work in in that area. Never really had the need or inclination to explore what I might be capable of doing in that way, then she got the Vallet to look after her bag, probably in the same way she dealt with the supercilious clerk in the rental office, and the 2 drivers of the low-loader transporting the Caiman."
"Then in the Casio, by her own admission she used the Pattern to alter the odd of the slot machines paying out, although the effect wasn't immediate, is that relevant?"
Cormac Camerilli:
"Probably, she said later in an answer to Rhiannon's question about just 'jumping across shadow' that if you strain the laws of probability too much you inadvertently shift shadows, she also said again in answer to a question asked by Rhiannon, that she couldn't use the Pattern to keep the drug dealers clueless because she didn't have the time to prepare. Is that another requirement of using the Pattern to manipulating probability, that you need some time for it to take effect, and if so how much time?"
