 Instead, I want to see roughly 2 paragraphs regarding your character concept (if you have multiples and want to talk about them, that's fine, but ultimately I want to know about who the character is, not what they can do).

 Player Characters were pressganged into serving as the crew on a space ship. Backgrounds need to include what the character did to impress the crew enough to bring you on as crew instead of sell you as merchandise.

Characters start at level 1. Use Standard Array.

 Allowing all of the standard races (beast races belong, collectively, to a race called the "Gorm")

 Elven races belong, collectively, to a race called the Illdari.

 Small races (gnomes, halflings, dwarves) belong to a race known as the Veldari
