With an objective, the five of you make your way out of Predator's Cove and into Lydan proper. You enter the District of Nine, seeing the various temples and shrines to the Prim Novem and the variations of their worship. Acolytes profess the dogmas of their deity, priests and priestesses offer services from healing, to food, to death and all between. But it takes only a few minutes until you pass through the gateway to the Market district.

The market before you is abuzz with more calling out. But instead of calling for your prayers, they call for coin. Silks, meats, fruits and vegetables, spices and all sorts of other crafts and wares are promised as the best for your coin.

A short way in, you find a popular general store called G.O.L.D.S. Inside, there's a number of people perusing the various wares. A long counter has a pair of short lines. One looks to be used to make purchases and another seems to be a place for those looking to sell unneeded items. Just inside the entrance is an armed silver-scaled dragonborn that appears to be providing security.

As you enter, a half-orc woman greets you, "Welcome. You can sell your...oh." She began gesturing toward the counter where patrons sell their goods but stops when she sees the sack move. "I'm sorry, sirs. We don't deal with any creatures. You might want to try the Arcanum or an alchemy shop."

Those're me nex' stops, Drevor growls.  Firs', though, I need me a small cage ta keep it in.

"Ah," the half-orc woman says with a smile. She begins leading you a section that holds various cages and traps. "They got you doing some hunting for ingredients? I've heard some pay good coin for it but we've never got into that business. Here's our selection you'd need based on the size. We offer bigger options if you need later. Mind if I ask what it is you caught?"

You can see a selection of cages that range from just big enough for a small rat to one large enough for a medium dog. A sign in the center reads 'Ask our associates about our larger options.' One for the creature you have would cost 2 gold.

I'm na sure wha' 'tis, hones'ly, the chef advises.  Tha's why I need tha cage.  So it ken be examined by someone wha' knows more than me.  An', I'm na' openin' tha bag 'til I go' tha cage.

“In for a penny, in for a pound. Though, I suppose it’s copper and gold…”

Guy produces a gold piece to split the cost with Drevor for the cage.

There's na need fer tha', he says to Guy.  This 'ere's a problem o' tha tavern, so 'tis my respons'bility.
Thank ye, he says as he collects the cage from the half-orc woman and moves to wait at the counter to pay.

Guy shrugs and begins flipping the coin, "You know, I have been thinking about getting into cooking. I mean, if you think about it, food is the common denominator. Everyone eats. Well, maybe some things don't eat, but everyone I know eats. And good food is one of the few things everyone agrees on, if they're being honest."

As you wait in line, you hear whispers of gossip. Theres supposedly some weird magic going on in the Mountains of Kimrin. Another mentions some trolls have been causing trouble on the road to Drabyn. Mesinka has been sleeping with the poet in the market. There's rumors that the city of Husk is beginning to grow again. And other far less juicy conversations.

You eventually reach the counter and make your purchase.

It helps to have a talent for it, he advises.  An' a sense of taste tha' ken pick out ingredients an' seasonin's.
He pauses, listening to some of the rumors being spoken about around them.  An', when bus'ness picks up, i' really picks up.  Predator's Cove is busy even when 'tisna tha busy hours.
He pays for the cage, then gathers it to take it outside.  He then places the bag inside and closes it, waiting for whatever the creature is to free itself from the burlap.
