Donavan brings out a map of the Hod Continent, "So Calypso is located in the central norther section of Hod. Now they have a fairly major city on the South West coast and a little north of that is a major airport. I know of a few of the private hangers that dont ask questions, especially from charioteers. We can hid the Revenge there until time to go. I would suggest we have Tanner meet us there with a skimmer. Any other ideas?"

I think that covers our slight change in plans. Everything else can work from there.

"I think we've planned as much as we can, I think it's time to get underway and trust the Pancreator that our plans will work."

The crew and party retire for the evening as communications are being made with the muster and Abraham. In the morning you hear that Tanner is going to meet you at the airport and he has instructions for a private hanger to dock the Revenge in.

Donavan makes room for Adams volunteers and sets for take off. The trip is much more bumpy the normal, however after about 12 hours you land in the airport that Donavan mentioned.

The airport is fairly large and has many freight vessels waiting for take off. As you land you are taxied to a non descript hanger without many markings. Once inside you see a state of the art hanger decked out with what appear to be a fully stocked ground crew and mechanic.

Donavan looks over at John, "Where did Abraham get this hanger?"

"He didnt say." John replies as he looks around suspicious of the hanger as the doors are quickly closed.

Which characters are in a position to be aware of the suspicious circumstance?

Alina readies her blaster, just in case, and scans the hanger. She tells Bada-Gar to be alert as well.

Everyone enters the cargo bay and the doors open standing in front is Tanner.

"Took your time getting here." He states with a different accent than he had before. "I need a full briefing of what is going on. Oh and by the way, this place doesn't exist."

Salos addresses Tanner flatly, still unsure of the situation, "Tanner. You sound different."

"My real name is Justin, Ive been monitoring Augustine Hawkwood for the better part of 20 years. Hes outspoken attitude towards the Emperor invites scrutiny. The circumstances surrounding this recent event have drawn much more scrutiny towards him. But there are things we dont understand." Tanner/ Justin states.

"We? Are you an independent contractor or do you answer to someone else?"

"I answer directly to the Emperor." He replies.

"A Questing Knight?" asks Alina. "We will require some sort of proof."

"Let us say if, I belonged to any organization, you wouldn't believe it because its  no one ever meets them." He states. "We watch for things that are, unexplained as well as artifacts of great power, also for nobles that act beyond their place. And for threats again the Empire. Last week the guards changed all over the estate. I'm fairly certain they are not Hawkwood or Imperial soldiers. My best guess is Kurgan."

Everyone roll Perception Academia. Rolls will be Unfavorable unless you have Court Customs

Salos does have court customs and he probably has the highest Academia, so I'll burn a WP to make it favorable

14:14, Today: Salos rolled 18 using 2d20 with rolls of 11,7.  Perception + Academia = 9

Taking the 7, a success. If there's any leftover VP, I'll add them to my bank.

Took a gamble and it didn't pay off :)

Today: Lady Alina rolled 17 using 1d20. Perception 5 + Academia 3 = 8. Adding 8 VP to boost chances =16.

Salos raises an eyebrow, then gives Justin a knowing nod. "The Eye? If that is so, it is indeed a rare honor. I would ask for proof, but there is none you could provide. As it stands, we're short on both allies and time, so we'll have to extend some trust. You haven't tried to kill or arrest us, so that counts for something."

Salos turns to the others, "If he is who I think he is, our purpose are at least temporarily aligned."

Back to Justin, "Your instincts are correct. The Earl and Lady are working for the Kurgans. They plan to overthrow the Emperor and their plans seem to hinge on Penelope's marriage, and then death. Penelope, John, Abraham, and even Elise seem to be innocent in these matters."
