Realm: The Waking Nightmare of Irani

The Prince of Blossoms slept, but all was not well.

During a divine slumber a god remained distantly aware of the goings on of their world. It was only a vague impression, but enough to sense when something was deeply amiss. Squabbles of mortals, famine or plague, these were dire events to a mortal, but not enough to stir a god in their slumber. But the intrusion of another god was another matter. The Prince of Blossoms felt a foreign power at work in his realm. Vulnerable in his state of repose, the God of Blossoms had limited ability to intervene. He could extend his will to counter one part of the mischief that was unfolding, but not all of it. He would have to choose carefully how he applied his will.

The Developing Dangers of Irani

You may cancel out one of these events. The other two will unfold and be waiting to be dealt with upon the Prince's awakening. (In your post you may take liberty describing how your manifested will reflects itself in Irani to deal with what you choose to counter.)

Growing Flames of Zealotry: The Children of the Petal and their strict influence on kitsune life can be felt through the Prince's slumber. That devotion had already been great in the age of piety, but it was reaching a fevered blaze, the flames being fanned by a strange god. What exactly this looked like was hidden through the mists of slumber, but even devotion to a god could be taken too far.

An Unwelcome Guest: There was a foreign power inhabiting Irani! It was a god... but not? No, a demi-god. Greater than mortal, but less than truly divine. This being while not a physical threat, was an existential danger and the longer it existed the more it could intertwine itself with Irani.

The Unasked For Embassy: Lastly, there was a place of power being formed within Irani, however it was not a power beholden to the Prince of Blossoms. This site was dedicated to foreign powers, it inhabited Irani but declared itself above the laws of its inhabitants and keeper.

Realm: The Waking Nightmare of Irani

While the Prince slumbered, he was gradually rousing to wakefulness. But right now, he wasn't there quite yet. He could distantly sensing strange going-ons in his realm were happening, but couldn't do much except slumber and grow. He was a young god still, and like any child needed his beauty sleep.

As he slumbered, some foreign power somehow attempted to infiltrat ehis relam and create an Unasked For Embassy. However, the tree of Life itself responded to this affront directly while its child slumbered in its bosom, for it had agreed that Irani itself was a sacred space according to the first primal laws and it found this to be good. So something that dared try to subvert these universal laws - laws the tree approved of mind you - and especially while one of its children that were closest to it was asleep - infuriated it!

And so the manifest energy of the tree itself incarnated in the depths of Irani, somewhere deep in a jungle filled with pools. And as the un-sacred site of The Unasked For Embassy began to form, the tree drove the plantlife there to grow wild and dangerous while the animals grew dangerously large and feral and vicious and attacked anything of the outside influence they could find. Even the waters to begin to erode and sting at the site while the tree's leyline energy metaphysically attacked the bounds of the The Unasked For Embassy from beneath and around it, slowly eating away at its metaphysical structure like acid dissolving wood or metal. Not even a foreign divine power could resist such an onslaught as the tree "took the driver's seat" in that corner of Irani while the Prince slept and made sure to root out and utterly destroy all traces of The Unasked For Embassy, driving away the foreign power while it was at it and banishing it from the realm.

From the Prince's perspective, once he fully awoke, it would be like The Unasked For Embassy never even happened, and the animals and plants and land's energy would be completely innocently normal by that time as the tree wiped away the traces of its interference. The driver's seat of the realm would be the Prince's once again when he awoke, none the wiser beyond distantly feeling the immanent presence of his parent blotting something out before disappearing as quickly as it came. And this would be enough for the Prince, for while the Tree rarely showed its favor of him actively it made signs of its favor known to him every now and then. Like how the vines in the labyrinth didn't ever harm him, and of course like now when it preserved the first universal laws and drove out the unholy site before it could fully form, only to retreat and let the Prince make his own choices in the realm when he was awake once again.

And this type of indirect but quite salient favor was enough for the Prince. He knew he was loved, even if he didn't always understand the tree or its obscure motives.

The Unasked For Embassy event gets canceled by the tree!
