Yep, think good to go here too. Figure once we get close I'll have an aerial survey done of course for us, but other than that, ready to hit the trail as it were. :)

The six hours' walk to the Sward is along the road. It's probably more like a whole day if you walk along the river.

Wow, that was a roller-coaster of rolls for that opening round. Natural 20 for the bad guys' Stealth check and then also a nat 20 for Ayanna's Perception. Plus a nat 20 and a nat 1 for initiative.

Okay, both for Danryn, and as a reminder for everyone, how we're handling initiative:

-We're doing initiative by Sides (you, then them), but in order to make individual initiative matter, for the first round only, you can attack with Advantage on anyone with a lower count than you.

-No required order. Post whenever you can. The Count is just there in case it's needed.

Since Glinsael is away this week, I'll have her Dodge any round I don't get an update and she'll only get targeted in the case of random rolls (if then).

I was wondering if I should worry about that side.  I figure she wouldn’t have time to even make that kind of plan this round.  I’ll leave that to you.

Fear not, Danryn, I still have a good Divine Portent hanging in the wings to use on our patrol. Of course, I hate to use it so early.. so the dice win out for the moment. ;)

I'm not sure what the expectations are for posting in combat but I like to wait my turn. This was I react accordingly in character. If you want me to just post and you set it in order let me know boss and I will.

We're doing initiative by sides. The count is just for reference in case it's needed. I would recommend posting when you can rather than waiting. Just to make it easier to move forward.

@Kojik, it didn't make a difference this time, but remember if you're using a ranged attack within 5ft of an enemy it's at Disadvantage.

Heh, yeah, I figured with a failure on the first roll, Disadvantage was already accomplished. :D

18 more damage into Spider #1.  Is that a kill before Danryn posts?  That would free him up to move to assist others.
