Here are some guidelines to help everyone enjoy the game :)

1. Post at least once every 48 hours. If there's a reason that you can't just let me know (preferably in advance).
2. When attempting to do something, it will speed things along if you also roll in advance. For example: Jensen entered the room and looked around for traps (roll a d20 and add your perception skill).
3. Try to be inclusive toward other players and assume the best of them.
4. Keep it clean(ish). The Mature tag is there to allow for some flexibility in roleplaying. As an example, one of the pre-generated characters has a relaxed attitude to alcohol. Occasional strong language is permitted. If you're uncomfortable with anything I or another player are doing, please let us know.
5. Have fun! If you're having fun, that will make the game more fun for everyone else.

From what I've gathered, here are some other useful tips:

Narration should be in 3rd person past tense.
Jensen entered the room and looked around for traps, the sweat still dripping from his brow after their skirmish.

When your character says something, use styled text with quotation marks. Be consistent with your chosen colour.
"This place is less welcoming than a beauty parlour full of orcs!" he said to himself.

Use styled text with italics to convey what your character was thinking.
We're going to need to rest soon Jensen thought as he let out a weary sigh.

Use styled text in orange to show OOC text.
