You arrived back home. It was starting to get late and you can smell food cooking.

Hanako headed inside calling out when she entered "I'm home."

"Ah, welcome back, I'm in the kitchen!" Ichiro said.

Bamako headed towards the kitchen.

When you arrive there, Ichiro was working away in an almost crazy frenzy of cooking.

Hanako stopped and watched Ichiro for a moment, "Is everything okay?" she asked.

"Yes, I wanted to make something very nice for you," Ichiro said.

"Oh, we'll thank you," Hanako said "You didn't have to but I appreciate it."

"It's only proper," Ichiro said. "It's your first day working as well..."

Bamako sat down, "It has been busy," she said.

"Do you want to tell me about it?" Ichiro asked.

"Some of it, I was asked to investigate the murder of a merchant, it seems the fireman guild had been trying to coerce money out of him and the other merchants," Hanako said "But he had refused and was killed because of it."

"It's good you put a stop to it then," Ichiro said.

"I hope so," Hanako said "I want to help make a difference."

"It sounds like you already have," Ichiro said.

"You are too kind, how was your day?" Hanako asked.

"Good, I got a lot of work done. Now go wash up while I finish up here," Ichiro said.

Hanako nodded and went to refresh herself.

When you get back, there is a rather large supper ready for you at the table.

Hanako smiles "That looks wonderful, you've outdone yourself." she said as she took a seat.

"Ah, well, thank you kindly," Ichiro said.

Hanako smiled "It's only the truth," she said as she took some food and began to eat.

It was quite good.

"Thank you all the same," Ichiro said, sitting down to have some himself.

Hanako enjoyed the meal and the moment of peace with Ichiro.

It was certainly a lovely morning, the birds were singing.
