Season 1 / Arc 2
As Connor read the note, he considered while Fluffy watched on curiously. He knew it was only a matter of time before his...uncle? Stepfather? Well...he wasn't really sure WHAT Hades was to him, given how weird the Theoi family tree was. What he did know, was that while he certainly didn't hold any god in as high esteem as he did his divine mother, that he had a certain stoic respect for Hades that went above and beyond the general awe and sense of family he felt toward the other Greek Gods. The man had, quite honestly, done him a real solid in giving him his cloak. And he loved the goddamned thing as much as he did his sword, honestly. It was just as custom-tailored to him and his abilities and ichor and situation as the sword and necklace were. And his dog of course! Talk about therapy animal! And it was telling that it took the spawn of a demigod-level monster to act as a therapy pet to the young scion. But the reality is that Connor was a complicated young man but he always acknowledged - and respected - gifts that were really tailored to their recipient. That extra level of consideration and effort was something the scion acknowledged heavily, although he didn't often like to admit it openly since it was kind of cheesy.
Mind you, unlike his mother who gave him his "core" set of birthrights (i,e, sword, necklace, and dog) freely with no strings attached beyond the bonds of a son to his mother, Hades - fitting the nature of the Plutonian god - granted Connor a great gift but with strings attached. Some would think such a thing was disingenuous of Hades, but Connor knew better. The god of the underworld didn't have to give him shit, quite frankly. Especially since he was the son of some other unknown father, but apparently what Persephone did in the Springtime was none of Hades' concern and the god respected that boundary. But even so...he could have just loaned the thing to Connor, or given him something shabbier. But that Cloak was quite frankly of the same quality as his sword was - a Greater unique relic. And he wasn't lending it to Connor; the scion really did fully own the thing. It's just...it was on a mortgage. He suspected the initial price was higher, but he mortgaged it to Connor instead of borrowed it due to his mother's wiles and influence.
But still...even as nice as this was, one still had to pay their mortgage note or there would be consequences. No matter how nice the bank was about it normally.
And honestly? Connor didn't mind doing these side favors for Hades every now and then. He sort of viewed it as an investment, even. And in a way...it was like death-god training of sorts.
"Well boy? Looks like someone pissed off ma's old man." he said as he reads the note aloud once for the dog's benefit before pocketing it.
"And I don't think he's really that petty a guy, which means this Bob guy deserves to have to deal with me soon. Not sure what he owes the Underworld, but we'll find out. One way or the other." Connor said as he touched he jacket a moment knowingly.
"Let's go to Hebe street and go from there." he said as he got himself dressed and bathed and then headed out.

NEW DEED GOALS UNLOCKED!
*New Short Term goal proposed: Find Bob Harling.
*New Long Term goal proposed: Supernatural Overstepping Resolution - Forest Outskirts.
NOTE: This is to look into and resolve the Cases of missing people in the forests on the outskirts of City.
*Bonus Long Term Goal (from cloak): Resolve Hades' request!
*New Band Goal proposed: Be acknowledged by all Mortal and Supernatural factions in and around the city that he is the "apex predator" top-dog of the region.
The band deed is something we need to agree is the culmination for the season. I am unclear what to propose here quite yet, but I'm leaning toward something that will help him cement his legend in the city and surrounding region, before Hunting down the Order perhaps later? He figures he needs to cement his presence so that bad supernatural actors really hesitate before pulling off stunts like the parade situation. Fear can be a great deterrent.
Thoughts?
