Between Barghujin’s and Maple’s attacks, one of the bonesnakes snaps in two and collapses back into its tomb.

Boots hangs back from the sudden action watching for other tombs to suddenly open. "Snakes? Who buries a snake in a tomb?"

Maple looks into the sarcophagus to see if there’s anything inside aside from bones

Dantes keeps watch should another denizen arise.

Maple finds…a man in wizardly robes, bound hand and foot and gagged! Judging from his thrashing and cursing under the gag he’s very much alive.

Silas mumbles with a gag in his mouth.

"Ifffff menffff mahhhh fennnnnss"

It all comes out in a jumble as he wriggles like a worm tied up and unable to move.

"Mummy? Guess not." He exclaimed. "How about that. This guy must be one of the luckiest. Fortunate for you we turned up."

Boots stepped forward and removed the man's gag.

Silas takes in a deep breath after having the gag removed.

"Aye."

Rubbing his head he sat up.

"Ugggg my head.  That's the last time I take a spiced mixed drink from a belly dancing Norgolian gypsy."

Rubbing his eyes and head again, hands still tied, he looks at Boots and those around.

"Names Silas.  Magic user and man who can't hold his liquor and gets fooled by women.  Pleased to meet you."

"I cannot fathom how you ended up here but if you're recovered enough, you're welcome to aid us on our mission to scourge the taint of chaos from this place."

Silas worked on taking off his bindings and climbed out.

"I would like to join you all.  Thank you for rescuing me."

Barghujin will take an instant dislike to the Mage for his slur against her people.

“Pretty standard interview questions all things considered,” Boots mused.

Silas smiled at the question from Maple and nodded to Boots.

"Well, I am a Chandler by trade.  i only recently finished my apprenticeship and am a young Magic user.  I can put a group of people to sleep and can read magic."

He looked from Maple to all the others that were there.

"What spells or abilities do you all have?"

In reply to Silas (msg # 30):

"Names Gremo, trained as a carpenter and spent some time as a hunter.
Mostly I swing this sword without hitting much."

"...sleep spells...I already feel like I'm in a bad dream...

Like Gremo, I'm part of the muscle for our operation. We have clerics, too."

"I'm Dantes, a cleric of the Solar Temple. I'm sure I speak for all of us," he pauses to glance at Barghujin, "when I say that your magic will be of great help at eradicating the taint of chaos here."

She doesn't meet his gaze...

Silas does notice everyone's words and demeanor and keeps a smile on his face.

"I also speak Draconic and will offer insight and help as we travel.   Thank you all again for rescuing me."

He looks around to see if his backpack is here or any of his gear.
