"My name is Eirlys", she introduces herself

Eirlys tilts her head slightly at the newcomer handing out bags of coin when he mentions ruins and chaos.  "Which ruins are you headed to?" she asks idly

A tiny chittering can be heard from beneath her cloak and she chuckles, "all right, all right" she says softly, slipping a piece of meat from her stew into her coat.

Dantes nods slowly to Yngvar the Mad, being careful to not get him worked up any further. Then Dantes turns to Eirlys.

"Which ruins, you ask? Why, the ones that teem to the very core with chaos! The ones that have taken the sight of our friend, jonquils!..."

His stirring words are cut short by the rustling of Eirlys' cloak. He pauses and watches with narrowed eyes as she slips some meat from her dinner out of sight.

"Ahhh, Miss Eirlys has a pet! May we see your pet M'Lady?" he asks as politely as he can think of.

"Your friend Jonquils went blind there? Tell us what happened to the poor man?"

Eirlys looks up a bit sheepishly, glancing around for the waitress or other staff before smiling and slowly drawing her hand out from her cloak. Sitting comfortably in her hand, still chewing on the proffered piece of meat and quite unbothered by her new audience, a small stoat.

"This is Deidra", Eirlys introduces still smiling, setting her dagger down to stroke the little things head.

Yngvar smiles widely! "We approve of your choice of friends! A fine looking girl! Hello Deidra! We are Yngvar! How do you do?" he reaches out to pet her, but pauses until he gets permission from Eirlys.

"I can't remember the specifics anymore but Jonquils was once an adventurer and travelled to the ruins long ago. Unfortunately, he became corrupted by chaos and was party to low deeds. Now he wishes to return and atone for his ills, and perhaps win back his sight."

Eirlys smiles a bit brighter at Yngvar and holds her hand a little closer so he can pet.  For her part Deidra seems ambivalent to the people about, just looking for food the instant her meat is done.

Eirlys' eyes widen at Dantes words, "He's blind and travelling to some old ruins?  I would help him find his way, if there is room for one more helper. One should never have to travel alone on such a sombre road." she says softly but very earnestly.

Yngvar strokes the little stoat and gives her a few bites of meat to eat as well. "She is absolutely brilliant we say! You have an excellent taste in your choice of friends Lady Eirlys, excellent!" he tells her, the smile on his face quite genuine!

The old wizard with the sloth wrapped around his eyes sits with a scruffy well-armed man who followed along from the winery.

Wynne looks around the room, eyes already starting to blur a little. He turns to Jonquil and raises his goblet of wine. "Well here's to you, old man. Where to next?" he asks and drinks deeply.

"Are we ready, then? Is everyone sufficiently rested and equipped to begin the trip to the ruins?"

"We thought we were going tomorrow after a good night's rest?"

"Fine. Let's gather here first thing tomorrow. We've tarried long enough. Every day wasted gives Chaos more time to spread."

Silas admired the pet friend from a distance, not much interested in touching it. "So Yngvar if you would like you can take these scrolls to your room and perform your magic before/after having a rest", he said, nodded at the proposal of leaving tomorrow morning snd said goodnight to everyone gathered. He then took of to look for the inn owner so he could get himself a place to stay for the night. God knows when is the next time they will have normal beds to sleep it...

Yngvar accepts the scrolls and goes up to his room, "If you don't have a room, you may stay with us if need be. You can then protect your property." he says nodding toward the scrolls, he says to Silas on his way up the stairs.

Maple pokes the fire. ”I was a butcher before all this happened,” she says to Barghujin and Tenpiece. ”Now I don’t know what I am. I guess I’ll see what comes my way next. Adventure has been finding me fast and easy these days…”

As his head begins to disappear above the ceiling as he ascended the steps, stops again and speaks to Eirlys, "Miss? Do you need a room as well? We will get you a room if needbe for the night! Barkeep, do you have one more room for the lady for her privacy? If so, send your maid up and I'll pay for it." he tells the bar keep and Eirlys. He waits for an answer from the bar keep.

"That is immensely kind of you, Yngvar, but I have a room.  I am just going to have some warm milk and then will head up.  Will see you at breakfast." she smiles at the wizard brightly and gives a little wave.

She nods to the barmaid to make her last evening request.

Yngvar continues to his room, Silas is welcome to follow.

Dantes goes out to where Barghujin and any others are camped out to give them the share of the treasure and update them on the plan to leave at first light.

Silas gratefully accepts the offer and follows Yngvar to the room. He will feel much more comfortable around his stuff.

"Thankyou Dantes. Was expecting a departure in the morning."

"If you want to share the soft bed, fine, if not, enjoy the floor, We paid. If you wish to share, keep to yourself, We prefer women thank you!" Yngvar informs Silas with a smile as he gets ready to go to sleep.

Wynne hiccoughs drunkenly and mutters to himself about fool blind men and their missions as he makes his way to the camp outside of town in the darkness. He stumbles into the flickering light of the fire lighting the faces of Maple, Barghujin and Tenpiece. "Anyone seen my wineskin? I'm sure I left it here somewhere..." he trails off as he reaches his bedroll, lands face down and snoring within ten seconds.
