It will take the remainder of the daylight hours to reach the farmstead. The farmstead consists of two large farmhouses and a pair of grand barns. A bonfire has been lit in the middle of the road as it passes between the two houses, and a group of people are gathered before the fire with their backs to the road. They appear to be listening as a man in long, black robes speaks and occasionally waves his arms at them. He sounds like he's making a dark sermon of some kind.

"So who are all these people? You didn't mention anything about a cult or such." says Dantes to the ruffian with a bit of steel in his voice.

Yngvar was unhappy with the look of what was ahead, "Perhaps, if we haven't been seen, we can go around and give them a wide berth, I don't like the look of it." Yngvar says quietly.

Too far away to detect evil, Tenpiece voiced his thoughts too. "I don't like it either. It smells of evil, and we are hurt. We can come back and get rid of them when we are fresh perhaps?"

"I am not liking this."
Gremo draws his bow and nocks an arrow.

”The preacher must be the man who hired us. The others? I can’t tell from here.”

"I still think we should give them wide berth for now and go around." he repeated quietly, his spells being spent on the bandits.

"Hired you to do what? Is this another of your traps?"
She strings her bow and nocks an arrow.

”He hired us to kill you! But we’re bandits, not assassins! We were joust going to shake you down and send you back the way you came with none the wiser!”

Dantes thinks for a moment.
"I agree with Yngvar. We should rest up before attempting any more confrontations. I also don't wish to fight townspeople mislead by this so-called 'preacher'. Lets carry on to the cave and plan our next move."

Begrudgingly Gremo lowers his bow with shaky hands.
"Pity. I had a clean shot at him, but I am feeling pretty weak..."

You saw a clearing good for setting camp about an hour back on the trail.

"Hmm, I guess there is no way around them. We can go back to that site we saw back the trail a bit? What do you think?" he asks his teammates as he begins to back away so they would not be seen by their enemy.

"I just know we need a place to recover for a bit, we got hurt pretty good by the bandits." Tenpiece retorts.

After a short trek you find the clearing. Who takes which watch?

"I can take either first, or last shift. Is antbody healthy enough to take a middle watch? he asks his new friends.

"I'll take last watch after dawn. There are those who see in the dark better who should take the night watches."

Silas quietly followed along, all these attacks shook him up quite a bit. He did not like what was ahead of them so he was happy they decided to settle a bit away from the cultist. As they redied the camp, he quickly investigated neighbouring bushes. "I can take any watch you want me to." He offered as he was checking his spellbook in anticipation of what was to come.

Once he is lowered to the ground, Gremo passes out again.

Maple stalks the edges of the clearing, poking around in the woods, getting a good tactical sense for the place. ”Wouldn’t want any surprises…” she mutters.
