Known Languages

To make things easier I've grouped some of the languages together. So if you roll for a language you and you get Hobgoblin for example, you know Goblin (Hobgoblin dialect)

Humanoid Languages

Goblin - Spoken by Goblins, Bugbears, and Hobgoblins

Giant - Spoken by Ogres, Trolls, and all known Giants

Draconic - Spoken by all known Dragons, Lizard Men, and Kobolds. Draconic is also the standard language for Arcane discourse.

Elven - Also spoken by Brownies, Pixies, Leprechauns, etc.

Human Languages

Corrumian (Common) - The human language spoken on this Continent

Mercanti - The pidgin language and gestures shared by merchants and sailors throughout the world.

Keltrian - Spoken in the Western Isles and isolated human communities that still follow the Druidic faith.

Norgol - Spoken by the sailing raiders and steppe horsemen from the Far North.

Kriekom - Spoken on the northern coast and islands of the Southern Sea. These areas still worship ancient deities only mentioned in passing by Clerics on the Continent.

Koptekh - Spoken in the equatorial region past the Southern Sea.

Surya - Spoken in lands far to the East where an entirely different form of magic is practiced.

Alignment Languages

Alignment languages are not learned, they well up from the character's soul and sound like babbling to anyone not of the same Alignment. It's said they are the languages spoken in the realms of the gods, and this is the language we remember before the gods send us to this world to be born. A PC or being that uses divine magic must initiate a conversation in the Alignment these folk may also learn the scripts of these languages and their true names. Lawful is Celestial, Neutral is Sigil, and Chaotic is Abyssal.

I have 1 additional language, so do I need to roll a d12 on this list of languages or can I choose? I have the free OSE Basic Rules so there isn't a table, it just refers you to your referee.
