VI - On the Road to Saint Volusien
The party readies themselves for the short trip and sets off along the narrow path towards Saint Volusien. Quins young charges look forlorn and turn to each other for comfort during the trip.
Quin, in his usual light-hearted way, talks to the boy and girl and they eventually relax and look a little more comfortable in the high-born company. It is a fantastic spring day, crisp and sunny and the air smell of mountains. Jehanne answers Quins questions to the best of her ability: she remembers gathering worksmen's clothes to bring down to the river where her mother and the other women washes them. She ate porridge at home before going to the castle and nothing since breakfast this morning. She remembers nothing of the injury causing the scar, avoiding Quins eyes when asked but not because of lying he thinks. She don't remember anything unusual in the last few weeks except for her father having fallen ill but nothing concerning herself. She's had headaches perhaps a couple of times during a day for a few days now but she's worked a lot so haven't thought much of it. Carrying bundles of clothes up and down the construction site and around town is hard work. She hardly talks to anyone at the site -she's scared of the men- but the other washing women are nice to her.
OOC: The company consists of Guy, Quin, Guillame, Jehanne and the houndsmen. Guy, you can decide who else and what you bring. Gifts to the lady, guards, priests? I'm not sure if William will return, if he does we can say he's catching up.
