Can we start with the Captain being piped aboard the ship? :D

I may have nabbed a few players from a previous Trek game that was ghosted by the GM.

I have yet to play in a Trek game that lasted more than a month before it ended up being neglected by players or GM... So I have high hopes here!

Regarding the piping onboard, I planned on having a "Flashbacks/Previously On/Logs" style thred where some of that kind of thing could be covered outside of the main adventure. The first couple of Episodes I have in mind are from the Starter Set, and really throw you in "In Media Res". I like them because for me, as a new GM, and for players who may not have played or played very little, it helps explain whatever roles and options that may be available for everyone.

Would you have any ideas/suggestions of what you may want to see otherwise too?

Well, there are some amazing plots from the various TV series it might be fun to try. I should add, I am very much into "future people go back in time and get it wrong" and ST does that well. TOS had mobsters, romans, and such things. I loved the Vulcans back in time episode in Enterprise. And who doesn't love Trials and Tribblations?

(OK, I know the romans and mobsters were not time travel, but cultural contamination, but it still applies, sort of!)

Time travel and Trek are so overdone! Picard and Discovery had entire series devoted to it. Tis but a matter of time before they do it in SNW. Anything to do with Khan and Soon - also overdone. We need more Romulans! And Tholians. :D

I still love the back in time, out of their depth trope in any series.

I was waiting for Tholians in SNW, as the noise they have been using for odd aliens is the one they have used for Tholians on other shows, so...

I love what they've done with the Gorn so I'm hoping the Tholians show up and have a really well-done makeover as well.

Yeah, it was so nice to see the Gorn get some love. Some races have been over used. Gorn instead of Klingons or Orions was a nice touch!

They had nowhere to go but up after their debut in TOS. They've made them very frightening and alien.

Aaaannddddd now I am thinking of the scene in Galaxy Quest based on TOS Gorn fight episode... ROCK! ROCK! ROCK! ROCK!
