I have character sheets for Oddmund, Santiago, and Wolfhard now. Once I hear from Sir Von and Brother Malcolm, we can get this show on the road :)

I have to admit, I am a much bigger fan of the (mostly) John Bridges art of the Vorox from 1st/2nd editions. They look so much more bestial, primal, and horrifying there. In the 4e art, they're just 4-armed kitty cat mans. And, don't get me wrong, I love kitty cat mans, but that just doesn't feel right for Vorox to me.

I would totally agree. Love the dirty and gritty John Bridges art - looks so much fitting for this universe.

With that being said, I was trying for a more 'civilized' look for Sir Von here :)

And savage Vorox are tricky to make in HeroForge. Here's an attempt:

BTW, Wolfhard has enough Tech Redemption for doing equipment upgrades (each upgrade increases item quality one level, items can only be upgraded two level from original quality, premium quality provides +1 goal) - for a reasonable cost, of course ;)

I'm learning new things every day. :)

Must confess, not 100% up on all the different perks and powers and what they can do. I trust we can all educate each other :)

In reply to Wolfhard (msg # 133):

While we are talking about capabilities , Malcolm can do anything medical/life sciences up to surgery.  I did take Laying on Hands instead of Rending the Veil of Unreason at this point, so he's a quite competent healer with both mystical and technological means.
His quarters on a ship will probably look something like Saru's from Discovery if it looks like we are going to be on a ship any length of time.
And he can actually code if you don't mind everything in Lex V.V.

My default mode is over-analysis ;)

The base price listed for equipment is for standard quality. It goes Standard > Superior > Masterwork > Premium. Premium gives +1 goal (+1 resistance for armor), but items can only be upgraded twice, so a standard item can only ever be Masterwork quality. You can directly purchase higher quality equipment at 10/20/30% additional cost over base. An upgrade attempt takes 8 hours and up to 8VP in resistance, depending on the quality level. I also need access to appropriate equipment. It also specifies a cost in materials, but it would have to be pretty negligible to make it worth bothering, given the difficulty of the maneuver to begin with and that hit can just pay 10% cost to buy higher quality gear.

I can also attempt to jury rig temporary repairs. It's possible to actually build things from scratch, but that requires perks I don't have.

Excellent! So everyone knows, you can also purchase doses of Elixir at 10fb each and an Elixir autoinjector that gives you a dose any time you take damage to vitality greater than your revival rating.

This image was the very first thing to jump into my head when I was trying to visualize him at the beginning of creation. :)

I finally wrote out the basic IPA of Sir Von's given name!

For the record, those are:
