In reply to The Management (msg # 1):

Been playing and running Fading Suns since 1997. Huge Fading Suns fan. I am familiar with 4th ed and run a game also. Looking forward to this game.

As for me, I've been playing RPGs for 40+ years now. Real name is Soren, born in Denmark, now living in the US.

Favorite systems are RuneQuest, HeroQuest, Fading Suns, Jorune, 2300 AD, Call of Cthulhu. I've most been a GM but occasionally lucky enough to be a player. Fairly lenient and easy-going but there is a limit :)

I started playing TTRPGs 4-5 years ago, starting with Cyberpunk, then adding D&D and Deadlands. Still pretty new to Fading Suns, but liking it so far. I like experimenting with different classes, though I definitely tend to be drawn more towards caster types :)

Greetings! I know the Management from the FS group on Facebook.
Been roleplaying for something like 40 years now, starting with the Blue Box D&D Basic Set.  Been a big fan of Fading Suns since the 1st edition.
I will be playing Brother Malcolm, an Eskatonic priest with a taste for life sciences and botany. Yes, he will be a Theurgist, as well.

Nice! I'm playing an Amalthean Theurgist in another campaign. We're just getting started, but it's a fun calling so far.

Indeed. I like how a Priest can add so much to the group. To be honest, I was a bit put off by the new 4th edition rules at first but after understanding them better, I quite like them.

Yeah, since I'm playing him as a pacifist, I was a little worried that he would have limited utility for the party outside of healing, but I've been pleased with what he can do.

Malcolm will probably stand in as a healer; he is going to be pretty strong in the life sciences, for...reasons...
And of course his theurgy will be rather subtle, being an Eskatonic and all.
Like an Amalthean, he will mix typical church skills with technology.

I doubt he will be much of a fighter, though.

My psychic will likely be some sort of fighter, possibly a Dervish.
