I See Stories

You each receive a parchment scroll. You have no idea about how it came to you. You left what you were doing for a moment, and it was there when you returned.

Upon opening it, you read the following;

Greetings.

I am called I See Stories and I am a Vau.

You should come to meet with me at sunrise tomorrow, on the east bank of the Great Snake River, where the three bushes form a triangle under the bridge, because it would be a Good Thing to meet and because I have an errand you must run for me. This is a very important errand, and it cannot be entrusted to either a Soldier or a Worker, so humans it is. My name is I See Stories.

I can promise you that you will not be eaten or harmed. I can promise you that you are the Right Person for the errand because I have dreamed it and dreams do not lie. It is not a long errand, and it is not a short errand. But it is an errand. You must do this errand for me because I have dreamed it and dreams do not lie. I will meet you tomorrow at sunrise. You will recognize me, and I will recognize you.

Regards,
I See Stories

PS: I am a Vau.

Wolfhard reads the message. Sounds like fun, and it could be profitable. Those are two of my favorite things!

Wolfhard completes his business for the "day" and finds his way to the meeting place.

OOC: Nice opener!

I See Stories

In reply to The Management (msg # 1):

A shudder runs through Brother Malcolm when he sees who the missive is from.
His heart is racing.  He consults his notebook, then a few of the books he has around him.
The location, the names, there must be something auspicious he can find. When the cafe closes, he goes back to the Cathedral library, seeking new sources to cross reference. He starts to obsess on finding the hidden meaning, he almost doesn't leave the cathedral library in time to make the meeting.
He gets there, hard of breath, minutes before sunrise.
He looks around, anxious to possibly meet his destiny.

Santiago reviews the message. 'A vau, interesting, never met one before. Cant be worse than a Hawkwood' he thinks to himself.

Waiting until the appropriate time he readies Mephistopheles. "How about a nice ride ole boy." He tells his old friend has he puts on his saddle patting his old trusted partner.

Wolfhard recognizes the now familiar hoofbeats before he sees Sir Santiago. When Sir Santiago is close, Wolfhard gives him an inquisitive look, "You get a mysterious letter, too?"

"Indeed my friend." Santiago states looking around then back to Wolfhard. "I wasn't sure what this was all about and planned on touching base with you afterwards, but now. I am glad to have you at my side. So Vau, interesting, hope ole Meph doesnt get him spooked." He states with a smile while patting the neck of the magnificent black beast.

In reply to Wolfhard (msg # 4):

Malcolm looks up from his far off thoughts, "Yes?  Oh!  You aren't a Vau!"  He looks disappointed by that fact.
