I'm hoping for a least a couple of posts from you per week. It doesn't have to be much but it can do wonders for the game. However, if the game becomes bogged down for days because we're waiting for one player to post, I will NPC that player for the scene and move on.

Present tense is preferred for posts but I'm not going to be a stickler about it. Not bothered about spelling or grammatical errors either (but please make it readable :)

As this is my first time using the new FS4 rules, I'm certain to forget or miss something from time to time. Please bear with me, and do correct me if you see something wrong.

OOC chatter is fine in the thread, but please mark it in orange if possible.

I welcome the use of Wyrd Points to do somewhat cinematic or pulpy actions. Flash and style is encouraged  :)

I would also suggest that everyone avoid "lurking" (reading, but not posting) - we can't see you across the table waiting to do something. Even if your character has nothing to do, just adding a "reaction shot" at least once a day (or scene, depending on pace) helps build the narrative and keeps other players or the GM from holding the action to give your character a chance to do something.

In general, unless I'm in a conversation with a specific individual, I try to let everybody else post during RP/exposition/exploration scenes before I post again.  Obviously, there are exceptions, but that is my general rule.

Do we have an official "out of character" thread for the game? I'm curious because, as a lady who occasionally makes guy characters, I'm feeling like I really ought to have re-written Sir Von to be _Dame_ Von for this. Of course, it wouldn't work as well that way, but even still.

People are free to post either here or in the main thread. I do ask that you colour your post orange in the main thread if it's OOC

As for changing Sir Von to Dame Von, no problem if you want to do that.

Apologies for the rambling nature of Sir Von. He is supremely confident that everyone is apt to wish to know what he thinks. He's often wrong, but taking note of that tends to roll off him like water off the back of a duck.

Regarding actions, can I please ask you to state your intent before you roll dice? In many cases there would be other modifiers that would apply to the roll you might not know about, and it's difficult to apply them retroactively.

For instance, if you just state that you would like to hack the door security panel and the skills you deem relevant, I can then okay it or tell you the modifiers.

And please use the dice roller here on RPoL. Especially for rolls with advantage and disadvantage as it makes it easier for me.

That is a most reasonable request.

I try to check in on the game a few times a day. I keep arriving to find that we have just blasted right past a whole bunch of things I could have reacted to. Also, twice in the first scene, someone mentioned giving me a chance to post and others went right on past that without a beat. If this is the pace we're expected to maintain.. I may not be able to keep up.

Mea culpa! My apologies. It's been quite a while since I played a game and sometimes I get too keen to advance the story.

I can see how it's frustrating to miss out on posts. I will seriously try to limit myself to posting a bit more infrequently.
