Sorry! I should have been more clear. Jazeryk moved adjacent to the Goblin and Romeroz, 1 square south of Grunigagerwhateverhername is. He moved JUST to be adjacent at the moment, not on the far side of him. I realize now, saying 'adjacent' wasn't enough. Totally my fault.

If having Kukoku stabilize Romeroz is an issue, I'm happy to have it do something else (like maybe grant me advantage to escape the entangle spell. I just figured that it would free up the rest of the party to take other actions. I didn't mean for it to slow things down.

I did some reading, and this is technically possible for familiars.

"You can use your action to administer first aid to an unconscious creature and attempt to stabilize it, which requires a successful DC 10 Wisdom (Medicine) check."

"A familiar can't attack, but it can take other actions as normal."

So this seems technically doable.  I suspect we're slowed due to RL issues.

No, it is because of this issue. I've been thinking about how much of a 'dead' this is. I am trying to resolve the act within the fiction of the Dungeons and Dragons game, and it doesn't seem plausible as written. We will "let it go" this time however moving forward, if we are not able to justify IC actions, I say we shouldn't attempt them.

Does that work for everyone? Does everyone agree to this moving forward?

I suppose I'm good with that - though we'll want to be careful on how tread the line on what's acceptable, what's not and what's trying to be creative and out of the box?

I definitely think that it is my responsibility to err on the side of players and support creative solutions.

I can accept that, provided we can argue our case on the action. I double-checked on rules about whether the act was within RAW before trying it, and I guess my feeling is that given how deadly the encounter has been so far I wanted to free up other characters' actions.

I also understand that some familiars, based on their forms, will be able to do different things. Owls can do a lot of things that a rat familiar could not.

If it is a confortability issue where I crossed a line, I'm happy to bow out.

I think you're fine.  And I'm fine with either decision.  I can roll a Death Save right now if that feels better.

If Romeroz dies, I have a backup character in mind already...
