Well never actually done any downtime stuff before in game but...

First I'd like to pull Renard aside and give him his share of the silver I found secretly in the castle

"The spoils sir!"

And I hand him a bag with 150 silver pieces inside

Second I'd like to try and trade any loot I have for herb kit supplies

Lastly I'd like to try and sell/trade these fire beetle glands

Any extra time left will be spent helping Renard on his endeavors

Phive:  The glands will get you 3 sp each since they have not been harvested recently and the Herbalism Kit is 5 gp.  I haven't been tracking your gold so you will need to do the math.

Also, for the Downtime Activities this is more than just getting some purchasing/selling issues resolved.  There is a specific game mechanic for this that you should look into so that you can earn extra income or work on another skill/language, gain favor with the local church, etc.  Check out the specific topic.

And then use my time and skill with the herbalism Kit to make some money while we wait

Learning a new language takes a total of 250 days and costs 1 gp per day.  The days do not have to be consecutive.
